The food and vibe of the place was really fun! I have been a handful of times and have never been disappointed. The service is very hands-off and if you do need something you may need to flag someone down, but its not a big deal, just a very casual place. The only thing to consider is that some of the artwork on the walls is a little 'mature audience' in nature... We liked Grey Dog so much we went twice on our recent trip to NYC. It was a short walk from our hotel (Moxy LES) and one of the few places that had a full breakfast option: eggs, meat, pancakes, home fries. Everything we got was delicious and the service was too notch. Highly recommend and we will return on our next visit!
We were able to bring our small dogs in a stroller with us to the restaurant! What a great benefit. Also the person at the wait stand realized that they had reserved a table up a flight of stairs which would have been difficult with the stroller so he switched it to a table in the front on the floor to accommodate us. The food and service were excellent. Thanks to the brilliant owners who understand pet lovers.
