We (4) had to wait to be seated because all of our party (8) weren't present at the time we arrived, despite the table being free which I thought was a little weird (surely people in seats paying for drinks would be a good thing?). After we were seated the staff were friendly and attentive and everyone enjoyed the food. Overall not a bad price for NY standards too, so I would return.

We went to for a Saturday brekkie. The atmosphere is good, but the service and food is just average. I had pancakes and it just seems like it’s pulled out from a fresh grocery pack. The atmosphere is lively though.

The Grey Dog Bar really hits the spot for an early happy hour. I recently visited and had a beer; it's the kind of place where you can actually hear yourself think, which is a definite plus. The atmosphere is quiet and conducive to conversation, making it an ideal spot to meet up with friends and have a real conversation without having to shout over loud music or competing noises. If you're looking for a relaxed and comfortable place to enjoy a drink and catch up with friends, the Grey Dog Bar is definitely worth checking out. It's a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle, offering a mellow vibe and a chance to actually connect with the people you're with

I loved the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant, however, the food was average. For the price, I was expecting something a little better, but it was alright. There was a 20 minute wait, but it honestly moved faster than that. Service was good, the food was just not worth the price.

We arrived on time for our lunch reservation. The host wanted to seat our party of three at a high top table which -given physical limitations of one member of our party-was not acceptable They then tried to seat us at a corner booth which would not accommodate three people comfortably and was virtually inside the kitchen We pointed to two adjacent two tops and the host said they were reserved and the people might show up. Reminding him that we also had reservations for seating for three people, he still refused to seat us Whereupon we left, saving ourselves mediocre food in a loud cramped environment Do yourself a favor and eat ANYWHERE else (we had a great lunch at the restaurant across the street)

We came for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was vibrant with great music and excellent ventilation, the margaritas were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended!
Cute cafe, just stopped in for a snack and a drink which was good for what it is. Service was awful. Our server took a long time to greet us and after she took our order we didn’t see her again. Had to get up and talk to the hostess to ask for a spoon and another drink. The only place I’ve been to in a long time where no tip is the only appropriate tip option. There’s probably better servers working here, we just didn’t get one.

The Grey Dog was fair or average. Our waiter completely forgot one of our orders. Not sure how that happened but the other 2 in our party waited for that. Food was average for the price. I will not be going back.
