Great location, great service, great food, great atmosphere. Much better breakfast than our 5 star Central Park Hotel!

Concept and food is great! They even have a separate kid's menu. Our waitress was somewhat interesting, though. If any of you is familiar with the Netflix series "Loudermilk", you might understand. You know the scene when he gets upset with the girl who talks with a funny duck-like voice in a pretentious way as if she's rich?Kid-friendliness: They have a separate menu for kids.

We came upon this restaurant for breakfast when the place we intended to go had a long wait. I'm glad they did because this place was fantastic. Cozy, but not overly crowded. Our server was super friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The food was delicious!

I joined a group of friends for a late breakfast at the gray dog on a Sunday morning and it was the perfect cozy spot for a casual breakfast. The food was very tasty. I got the turkey club, others got Chilaquiles and chicken/pancakes, and a turkey sandwich. All were very tasty and came out fast. The tables are pretty close together, but the environment is casual enough that it seems to increase the friendly, neighborhood spot vibe.At the table on our right was a group of adults having a great time and at the table on our left was a father and his young daughter having a cute little breakfast. So this place is definitely good for all ages. Our server was attentive and on top of things. The only potential negative consideration I have is that the restaurant was quite loud so if you have someone who has trouble hearing, this is probably not the spot.I would definitely go backKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. they have a kids menu and the restaurant restaurant has a casual feel but still very tasty food

Came here for a Saturday brunch with my partner and we absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and we really enjoyed the french toast I ordered and the fried chicken + pancakes. 10/10. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere.... the playlist they have going here for brunch is AMAZINGGGGG. Played constant pop bangers and my boyfriend and I were singing along the whole time. The only problem we faced was the service. Unfortunately, it was very slow and took my boyfriend 15 minutes to get a coffee. We had at least 4 different servers, which most of the time we had to flag down, and it was overall difficult getting anyones attention but as someone who works in restaurants I can understand that weekend brunches get pretty hectic. Overall, I highly recommend! Perfect for an upbeat brunch with friends, family, or a date.

I really miss the laidback syle of Grey Dog. Things have changed, with a reservation system and having to report to a host to be seated. We walked in and assumed it was the same system as before, a handkerchief on a claimed seat (we haven't been here in awhile, tbf). I walked in and just sat down, assuming the old system was in effect. Got confronted with a surly waitress that asked whether we had a reservation. This is Grey Dog, lol, not a 4 star restaurant. There were a ton of empty seats, btw. We were then asked to sit outside, beautiful day, why not. Big mistake. Didn't get someone serving us for 10 mins. We walked back in to order, I walked in to get our waters. The fish tacos come with one less taco, and the fries are nubby and short? Sigh, COVID ruined all of these neighborhood spots. Such a bummer. Do not recommend. This new system sucks, the food is subpar.

I stopped by The Grey Dog on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. Service is really quick and the staff is really friendly. I ordered the croissant, egg, and cheese sandwich which comes with your choice of home fries, fries or sweet potato fries. The fries were fresh which I enjoyed. The egg and cheese croissant was a 7.5/10. It needed a bit of salt and pepper. You do get to choose different cheeses. I also ordered a lemonade that was pretty good as well. The location is really laid back with a mixed crowd! Babies were there and groups of friends. Very warm and inviting and casual.
