We got the deconstructed Baklava Gyro with frozen yogurt. This is the best froyo I have had in NYC. It’s legit good.

Stupidly overpriced. A platter is $30 for maybe 2 oz of pre-cut ground lamb (clearly mixed with filler) and less than a handful of fries. Toppings cost extra, the staff has an attitude, and the music? Just Daft Punk on repeat. Hard pass

I can’t remember where I used to eat before The Gyro Project came to the UWS! I have lunch here at least a few times every week and it hits every time. Not only is it fresh and delicious food but it’s healthy and filling! I’ve brought many friends and colleagues here and there’s something for everyone! Personally, I love the chicken shawarma bowl but they also have pastries and frozen Greek yogurt if you’re needing a little sweet treat! Service is always fast and I love the Greek vibes inside. I was fortunate enough to meet Stavros and Chris the other day and can attest that they truly care about each customer that walks through their door. I walked out feeling like I had made a couple new friends. Cannot recommend The Gyro Project highly enough!

I’ve been to Gyro Project a few times now, and every visit has been excellent. The food is always fresh, tasty, and affordable. I ordered the Falafel Pita and Chicken this time — both were 10/10. Flavorful, perfectly cooked, and really satisfying.

I’d even say this location tastes better than the NJ one (though both are great). The menu feels a little different in a good way, which makes it a fun choice every time.

On top of that, the service here really stands out. The supervisor/manager was welcoming and attentive, and the whole team made the experience even better.

Overall, Gyro Project is a consistent favorite — cheap, delicious, and always a great choice.

The Greek food here is really tasty, though pricey for the portion sizes. The chicken pita wrap is excellent, the chicken is well-seasoned, juicy, and flavorful. The spicy feta sauce is also a standout and pairs perfectly with the meal.
