Bartenders are great, regardless of the very limited food options. They are attentive with a full bar regardless of regulars in their bar or newcomers. Depending on the bartender the music selection is always different, it doesn't hurt to request a song but it is more of a speakeasy (for those unaware: that means, "house rules only"). Would recommend as quiet place for a first date or a recurring escape from the norm.

Amazing little bar that blends unassuming elegance with some spectacular cocktails. This is the neighborhood gem you keep returning to when your friends visit. (In this case I was the friend.) You're missing out if you stray from the whisky or bourbon offerings, which are exceptional -- especially given the size of this place.

I've never had whiskey before, because my mother always said it was an undignified drink for women. At the risk of appearing unladylike, I stumbled into The Hamilton with the intention of trying whiskey for the first time. As I was internally battling with my mother's judgement, a kind bartender named Ross noticed me looking troubled. He could tell immediately what my predicament was. I was surprised how intuitive he was. He assured me that women drink whiskey all the time, and it's completely normal. Ross allowed me to sample a few different kinds of whiskey, and I really loved how it made me feel! I'll admit, I did feel slightly more boisterous after consuming the samples, but Ross assured me that it was okay to express myself! At the end of the sampling, he fixed me an elegant cocktail, and I was again reminded of my feminine demeanor. I loved being able to let loose while sipping a delicate cocktail. Who says women can't drink whiskey??? THIS woman can and WILL! Thank you Ross.

Everyone speaks highly of this bar. Because ban and the accused do not comply with the rules of the law. This bar only has a license for ambient music. And what they have is a disco with music at high volume and at dawn. They do not have a roof either prepared with anti-noise bedspreads and it's torture because my room is just above it and they don't let me sleep and I'm sick. But of course those who are drinking and breaking the law of hours and noise are not interested
