I had visited the Hoptimist a few times before moving back to NYC and the staff are always incredibly nice & pleasant to talk with. I brought my dog since moving and she has been welcomed with open arms (she is adjusting to NYC after living on the dog friendly west coast). Since we are in the neighborhood we will likely become frequent visitors since I like beer (and they have a great selection!) & my dog likes attention.

One of my favorite neighborhood spots to grab drinks and bring my dog with. They always have a great rotating selection of local beers with knowledgeable bartenders. I have also been pleasantly surprised by their food - the smash burger never disappoints!
