I always stop by The Hummus and Pita Co whenever I’m in New York — it’s honestly my favorite build-your-own bowl place anywhere in the world! They used to have a location near me in Metro Atlanta, but sadly it closed a few years ago.

i truly go here all the time (usually to the UES location) and i switch up my order all the time and have never been let down. they also give you huge portions that can last you multiple meals. my favorite things are the vegan shawarma, the spanish eggplant, the persian potatoes, and all the chickpea chillers
The food is great the only two things I dislike is the size of the vegetables especially the peppers they put in the pita. They’re huge. At least 2 to 3 inches in length so when you bite into it it’s not a nice feeling and it’s hard to bite into and then they end up falling out of the pita. At first the chimichurri sauce was an option on the menu and when I try to choose a sauce they no longer have it as an option when you order online, which sucks cuz it really gave the...
