Before coming here, I have never had a spicy margarita I didn’t like. Last night, everything changed. There is something terribly wrong with the spicy marg!!! First and foremost, it tasted watered down, like it had been topped with mineral water. Secondly, the house made sour mix had pretty much no tartness or sourness to balance out the savory flavors of the tajin — it tasted like tajin water that had an essence of lemon lime sprinkled in. I also couldn’t taste the tequila...
My friend and I found The Immigrant on a freezing cold, snowy day in the city. We'd been running around all afternoon and had time to kill before going to an off-Broadway show that evening.
