The ambience, service, decor and live band were all 10/10. Unfortunately the food is below par and didn't have much flavor to it. We had the cacio e pepe which was probably one of the worst I've had in the city. The noodles were bad quality and slippery, the sauce looked creamy but didnt taste it. We also had the butternut squash which was a little better but half of it was undercooked and quite firm. The endive salad was not bad, a little heavy on the dressing but good flavor.

Had a long day at work, myself and my colleague were in need of good food, wine and vibes and the ivy room exceeded our expectations of what we were in search for. Service was 10/10, food and wine were great and then the most amazing singer and musicians were providing entertainment. I could not recommend here enough and if I was able to give it more stars I would! Next I’m in New York and I will definitely come back and will be recommending to anyone looking for a good spot to go to in nyc. Hemal was a fantastic waiter and really want to give him a shout out for his fantastic service!

Beautiful atmosphere and musical entertainment, but the worst service in all of NYC. We sat and listened to music for an hour before we even got water served. NO ONE was even working. Our drinks took forever and by time they finally came, they forgot to bring a wine glass for the wine they had poured. Was another 10 minutes waiting for a glass. They need professional wait staff — for the money they charge the service was AWFUL and non-existent. No wonder they build the tip into the bill.

My friend and I visited this place for their jazz brunch on Sunday, and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed my meal (I had the Ivy Room Breakfast) and the live jazz music. Ramon was an amazing bartender and Karina was a great server. I will make plans to return and am planning to recommend it to my friends.

Steak and fries can be found just about anywhere, and I could write a long review, but I’ll simply say this: it was here that I had the best steak and fries I’ve ever eaten — and I’ve had steak and fries in several countries. Thank you for giving me the best dining experience of my life.

Food is okay. Nothing is special but service is bad. It’s very annoying when we order bottomless mimosas but we have to ask for refill every time or even have to ask for water, silverware, share plates. Me and friend were excited to go the ivy room but we left very disappointed.
I had went for brunch to celebrate my marriage anniversary with my wife because she love brunch and jazz so it a win win. I have bought the unlimited brunch and sadly it wasn’t unlimited. It a very sad case because my wife and I used to love this place. Anywho my food wasn’t put in and was told that. Also we had to wait to be serviced if we were outside while the patrons inside were more attended to. My wife and love brunch and unlimited mimosa at that but it seem like they wasn’t ready for the service. As we would wait 20+ mins for a single mimosa and then be told that they had ran out and will have to drink something else along with the the late ( not put in food ) service. Basically wasting the time and money we spent for what was suppose to be a memorable experience. The service was very slow and not very accommodating. I’ve seen better service in a McDonald’s. Very disappointing and will not recommend this place if you want to celebrate or have a an important business meeting as the are clearly not ready to handle even a basic rush. And let’s be honest if I took time out of my day and job to write this that have to mean something because I fathom how they basically had me pay to basically be ignored. I will tell my friends and family and any other person I get the chance about this and I will never be coming back. Thank you Ivy Room. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING !!!

Rude hostess, jazz brunch was more like a pop concert! Music was so loud you could barely hear the person across the table! Very mediocre food and drinks. Restaurant was practically empty. Now we know why! Never again.

Came here with coworkers after work and the food was very very good not one food complaint. Apparently on Wednesdays you get selected bottles of wine at reduced prices. Our server Liz was amazing and very helpful
