Fast and great service. Food was great. Had to catch a bus and they were able to accommodate two meals and drinks in under a half hour.

Drinks, service, and atmosphere are on point, but the food is very mediocre. I don't think I'll be back

Be careful if you are a large party. Tip of 20% is included and once you are asked to pay they ask for additional tip without stating -explicitly and verbally- that the aforementioned 20% is included. So do not
make the same mistake I did paying extra tip in addition to the already 20% charge

As a frequent patron of The Joyce, I have hosted numerous events at this bar over the years. The staff consistently provides exceptional service, and the culinary offerings are outstanding. I have sampled a wide variety of menu items and highly recommend the steak, although many other dishes are equally impressive.

Absolutely appalling service so disappointing as we often went there when it was tri na nog , i called to make a reservation for sunday after the marathon the man that picked up there phone had an attitude from the word hello ,i asked for a table for 10 for food , (my parents husband and kids ) who will all be starving after being out all day , he decided to tell me i would only be drinking at bar and i assured him it was for food he took all my details and decided to tell me i was going to be just drinking and he was cancelling my reservation i asked to speak to the manager he said he was and i asked for his name he said no, i then said inwas recording the conversation and i didnt ask to cancel my reservation and he said ok your reservation is cancelled and hung up. I work in the city i understand the frustration over dining and just drinks but my god the rude downgrading attitude was just so appalling. Ill he happy to take my family into connollys or a bar that has excellent customer service and unfortunately we will never darken the door of this pub again. Still looking forward to marathon sunday tho good luck to all runners and enjoy the celebrations somewhere welcoming ☺️

Food was edible but not good. Fish skin was soggy. Molten lava cake was cold. Service was amazing, warm and friendly. Beer was very good.

This was a repeat dinner from a work trip I took some 6 years ago for lunch, which was spectacular. I remember such a great meal.

Dinner was absolutely a poor reflection on that lunch and I won’t be ever back. I was rather looking forward to dinning there tomorrow as well as tonight. But you can kiss that idea goodbye. After asking for a medium strip steak, and sending the first back because it was clearly overly hard to what was supposed to be an easy medium well, the second wasn’t much better at all. I even said medium rare would be fine. The waitress was trying the tell me otherwise but this refire was overcooked by any rank amateur amongst cooks. I no doubt over tipped for the extremely poor kitchen exception.

Really it was way worse beyond all expectations. A medium to medium rare, which was directly discussed with the waitress was clearly still medium well, and a very tough and firm version of that.

Don’t get me wrong, I thought my server and I were on the same page and the line cook, well completely lost on how to cook stake. Against my better judgement the waitress was trying to tell me my stake was medium, it was clearly tough and absolutely not believable as medium.

Classic pub restaurant. Quite expensive for the quality offered. No NY/USA atmosphere but rather Dublin.
Staff are helpful and welcoming.

Expensive food. With taxes and tips, decided by the restaurant, a normal dish rises to €45-50
