Irish Pub near Port Authority Station.
Popped into this joint while meeting with a friend.
I went during happy hour and ordered various frozen drinks and also some eats.
I ordered the fish tacos, and quite honestly i was very surprised, my expectations for bar food is well adjusted but yes, that fish was one of the most moist, and supple fried fish ever, even for a bar; so i was quite impressed and surprised by the quality of the fish tacos.
now on other hand, i ordered their 10$ frozen margaritas and pina colada; now it wasn't bad by any means, it felt a bit short on alcohol or rum, i tasted a lot of mix and sugar, but not much alcohol, and mind you, i have very low tolerance for alcohol now, so it must of been quite absent.
The staff was nice and attentive, and I would go back, perhaps this time, beers, and most of all, that fish taco again.

Automatic 20% tip included for a group of 3. Not a bad place, but not a 20% tip level kind of service. Felt like a tourist trap.

That accidental first meal here began a pattern of return visits. I've searched but found nothing better. Additionally, workers treat guests with exceptional care. The laid-back setting and welcoming service impress. The employees are helpful, the food excellent, and the surroundings enjoyable.

Great food. Best pint of Guinness I've had in New York. Staff were magnificent. Would highly recommend.

Had about ninety minutes to kill before our bus left from the Port Authority so we decided to grab a bit to eat before our bus departed. Walked out of the Port Authority and around the corner and found this place. Could not have found a better place. Food was great, service was great, and the ambience was great.

Honestly, not too bad for a midtown bar but the Allagash White on draft was watery as hell I had to request another beer. Yuck
I might have on a quite night, it was very quite, people where very nice, and attractive. But it wasn’t what I expected, will come back to hope it improves.

It’s a decent bar for its target audience. It’s spacious and not too loud, we could easily have a conversation. There weren’t many people there on a Wednesday night, which I personally saw as a plus. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on that.

I really wanted to love this bar. James Joyce and my family connection with the author held promise but frankly it's missing something or a lot TBH. It says it's an Irish bar but it's so vanilla. There's no Irish feel to it and that's reflected in the menu also. Nothing Irish fare. Typical USA sports bar which is fine, but stop pretending to be an Irish bar. Guinness is good in fairness but it's so similar to all the newer Irish (pretending) bars in the city 🤷

Cornbread sandwich was small and tasted old. The Margaretta flat bread was good. The Hamburger was so so. They add a 20% tip on 5 or more.

Fast and great service. Food was great. Had to catch a bus and they were able to accommodate two meals and drinks in under a half hour.

Drinks, service, and atmosphere are on point, but the food is very mediocre. I don't think I'll be back
