I had an incredible meal at The Kunjip in Manhattan. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this full and satisfied at a Korean restaurant. We ordered the pork bulgogi stone pot rice, soft tofu stew, pork soup, and beef fried rice, and everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked.

The side dishes were outstanding too — especially the gat-kimchi and japchae that came with the meal. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and comforting.

I’ve been to this Korean BBQ twice now and both times were excellent. The food is delicious as most KBBQ’s are. The Soju (apple & peach) are very tasty and everyone loved them. They have taken care of us very well each time.

You definitely need to make a reservation. And you better show up on time because they’re extremely busy and most likely will give your table away.

Psst.. go during lunch special hours. Peaceful and quiet. Staff is friendly and doing the best they can with all the online orders. The Food, chef kiss it was DELICIOUS! I got the lunch special bossam and soft tofu soup and it was so good. I needed a soup during these cold seasons. They have complimentary side dishes which was delicious, some hot tea to help with the weather, and a sweet tea at the end. This is a great spot if your looking for a balanced meal thats affordable....
