Husband and I came to town to enjoy some food and theater. This was our Date night to kick off our trip. The ambience of the place is spectacular. There seemed to be an issue with the Front of House and the Maitre D that evening. We were seated, then told to vacate where we were sitting. Finally sat down, given a wine menu……. And ten minutes later given ANOTHER wine menu (without someone asking for our drink order). About fifteen more minutes before I was wondering if a menu was going to appear. I ordered the Lettuce Salad which was very nice. Then I just ordered another app for my entree… as the service seemed wonky and I’m leery of investing time and money when things aren’t headed in a positive direction. The white asparagus was on the old and fibrous side and over grilled. I had three bites, had the husband try it… and left it alone. The sparkling water was delicious and quenched my thirst! After our table was bussed from dinner… we waited about twenty minutes before getting up to search for someone to help us get our bill.Ambience was spectacular…. Maybe if they made more spectacle of the bad service they could make it part of the experience?

I give 4 only because of the desert. The oysters and stake were fabulous.The Bab Au rom was a disappointment, though . Nothing to do with the original recipe . And even though there was syrup but it was dry .

Cool, old school spot for dinner before a show. We came for an anniversary before seeing Hadestown. Staff was professional and knowledgeable. Everyone who touched our table wished us a happy anniversary and dessert came with a custom chocolate for us. You will fill up on the fixed priced menu! The Caesar salad was excellent and this was possibly the best Parker house roll of my life. The restaurant is pricey and geared towards quiet, intimate dinners. We had a wonderful time!

Honestly, I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to restaurants, but was disappointed with this NYC option. I've had better food for a lot less $. The tiny oysters were hardly eatable with the garnish. And was sick all night. The wage steak wasn't what I expected...but was ok. And the potato casserole was overpowered with sage. I didn't eat much of that. We were at a business function so I didn't complain at the time, but I wouldn't go back.

We had a wonderful experience. Chef JJ went out of his way to make our dinner and my wife's Birthday special. Can't say enough about him and the Wait Staff. Sudip J is a very attentive Waiter and he made sure everything was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing. The only recommendation we would suggest would be to spend a little more time cleaning the oysters. We both had sand in our oysters, but still delicious. We would definitely recommend the Lambs Club to friends and family. Thanks so much for making our night so enjoyable! We will return!

We ate in the bar area upstairs before going to a Broadway show. The food was superb. Recommend the scallops, roast duck and grilled cabbage. Fantastic cocktails too, and the bar area was beautiful. It's hard to find great food in the theater district. If you're looking for an excellent meal in the theater district, this is your place.
