We had an amazing experience finding this little gem while waiting on our Circle Line cruise. We got the Fish and Chips and it is easily one of my favorites I've ever had. The service was exceptional and the vibe in the little pub is amazing. So glad we found this little place.

Abe the bartender not only had amazing service, but incredible music and was so personable to his guests. Talked for hours; such a true and lovely New York bar.

Great food, came out quick and bartender was excellent. We tried sitting in the dining area but the wait was very long for service which is why we sat at the bar. Great for after the Intrepid visit.

An enjoyable early dinner after arriving in NYC. My dining companion had the ravioli, which she very much enjoyed, along with a well made old fashioned. I had the excellent Shepherd's pie, which I thought was a generous portion for $22. Throw in a well poured Guinness and we had an outstanding dinner. Excellent service as well. Would highly recommend this mainstay of the Manhattan dining scene since 1868.

Don't think about the acceptable food.
Think: What a great vintage place!
The woodwork! The tin ceiling!
The antebellum urinal!
Aren't we all glad it's still here?
Take no risks with the menu and you'll do great.

Personally this was the best food I’ve ever had not just in New York but in the whole US. Before this the best I’d ever tasted was the Dungeness crab sandwich at Ettas in Seattle. But Landmark Tavern has finally surpassed that.
Every dish was delicious but the shepherd’s pie was truly the best meal of my life. On top of that everyone at the restaurant was incredibly kind and attentive.
I’m grateful for the month I spent here. Thank you to everyone.

A traditional pub with live music on a Monday night. The food is a step above pub grub. Very friendly atmosphere.
