I was very excited for Short rib poutine but it wasn't good. Wish they added more mozzarella cheese and gravy but it tasted too plain. I asked them if they can give me any sauce like bbq sauce or hot sauce but they only had hot sauce. Espresso martini was doesn't taste like espresso and vodka. Our waitress wasn't that nice but we gave her 20% tip of original price because we got a good deal from Pulsd anyway. Even with vouchers, it wasn't worth it.
We sat at the bar and, although the restaurant didn't seem very busy at 6 pm on a Thursday, we had to get up and walk down the bar to get the bartender to serve us because he was so busy making drinks for the people sitting outside. Once we'd ordered, the food did come quickly. The flatbread was hot and perfectly okay (cheese and canned tomato sauce on like a packaged pizza crust), the salad was fine (nothing fancy), and the drinks were fine, it's hard to mess up a G&T. So, everything was perfectly fine once we got waited on, and I have to say it's a much better place to hang out than, say, a dark pub, on a nice day.
Great, eclectic menu and everything we ordered was very good: corn chowder, falafel boa buns, and Kale Caesar salad. The Irish session from 7 to 9 was excellent! I can't wait to go back
On a chilly day, the restaurant was quite cold. It is a funky interesting eatery. But as is the case with numerous restaurants, they can't make a proper cappuccino.
Love the waitress, the food was good, expensive though. The seating however was less than desirable. My son and I were seated at a 2 person table in the middle of the aisle. As the servers come through with trays of food, they had to balance over our heads. We asked to be moved to one of the booths and was told the booths were for 3-4 people.
Great experience at the Laurels! Very good cocktails and brunch, would definitely come back.
Even though we had a reservation staff informed us before being seated that we would have to be quick because they had other reservations to fill and then proceeded to try and overcharge us on our bill.
Good casual brunch spot

My husband I had a fantastic brunch. I ordered the happy wifey spicy lifey for the cocktail and it did not disappoint. We had their Thai Spicy Chicken Wings and Short Rib Hash for the brunch and they were better than we expected. The atmosphere was relaxing and chill and we’re already planning to come back again next weekend. The staff were all nice! Thank you!

Very mediocre steak frites, long waits for the waiters to serve the table even though it was quiet, no ambiance.
The burger was so good my mojito even better! The waiter which was the manager was super nice and attentive.
Joined the Sunday session to play some irish music with a fantastic line up of welcoming musicians and staff. With a wide variety of thirst quenching beverages and also a delicious menu of food.
Thanks to all there. We will be back
