Had a great and fast dinner here. Many of options and you sit right infront of the kitchen to watch your order be made. Service is quick and staff are attentive. They do not use digital menus or ordering tech (thankfully).The salmon belly special was great, I'd recommend it if it's available when you eat here.I found the Toro pieces to be a bit large. Weird complaint I know..

WHAT A GEM! came here for 1/2 off oysters and walked into seafood heaven. i loved how they had the seafood on display and a board to tell you which oysters are sweet/salty/small/big. it reminds me of Maine / Massachusetts quality and vibe. the oysters were super fresh. the service was quick and the employees were very kind and helpful. one of my fav places! 10/10

Made a trip here while visiting, it's been on my list for a while specifically for whole steamed lobster. After reviewing the menu, I decided on a half order of lobster poutine (crispy shoestring fries with 'lobster gravy', and cheese curds served over a half of a lobster. Was warned that it takes 15 mins to prepare, and the timing was on point. It was delicious.. if i wasnt eating other things at the market i would have gotten a full order (or another half). The gravy didnt add a bunch of flavor but still felt like a necessary component. I will definitely return next time in NYC and want a non fussy lobster dish.

It was alot of people there. They have Individuals who go around picking up the menu checklist of what you selected. You have to pay before you get your order. First come, first serve type of place. Scope out for chairs to sit. I had the oysters samplers.

- Since it was a weekday, the inside of the store was quite.- I placed my order at the counter at the back of the store and received my lobster about 10 minutes later.- It came with melted butter and lemon, which were delicious for dipping the lobstoer meat.- The lobster was well-filled and satisfying.

Was on travel by myself and decided to head over to Chelsea Market for dinner. It was a Monday late afternoon when I arrived and after walking around a bit, I wandered into the Lobster Place. Being from California, I wanted to try some east coast oysters and after looking at the oyster bar counter and one of the servers tell me that it's 1/2 off from 6pm-closing...that sold me! I ordered the Oyster Sampler platter which included a dozen oysters, 4 cherrystone clams and 2 shrimps. My server also recommended the Green Bee Honeycomb cider drink, so tasty! The oysters were fresh and clean. Love the variety. Came with cocktail sauce, lemon and hot sauce. I'm not one to put a lot on my raw oysters, just a squeeze of lemon and a touch of cocktail sauce as I really want the fresh taste of the oyster to come through. Definitely my favorite was the cherrystone clams. Wish I ordered more. Also fresh and clean tasting. Tasted like the ocean. Shrimp were large and good, could probably skip those next time as they were typical shrimp cocktail and focus more on the oysters and clams. Comfortable seating at the oyster bar to enjoy my food. What I ordered for myself was plenty for a meal. Highly recommend stopping by this place!

The lobster place was the best food I ever tasted in my life and I’ve eaten sushi in japan. The atmosphere is very nice for Japanese lovers and the waiters and the chef were extremely nice. the food came in quickly and the fish was fresh and the food was seriously amazing. Defently check it out because it is really an amazing place.
I know everybody lives this place. And it is great. But maybe lower your expectations a bit, I got a little disappointed. Good food but really high prices.
