Central Park Boathouse has been our celebration spot for so many years. So many beautiful memories we shared here. Family birthdays, celebrating our son's baptism, corporate parties, etc. But nothing really compares to Christmas celebrations here. Iconic place for holiday spirit! Breathtaking views, sophisticated ambiance, top notch service, delicious food. Merry Christmas, the Loeb Team and see You next year!
The personnel of the restaurant stole my wallet. They denied it. But once they close their shift, they started to make charges to my credit cards.
Awful place and people

I liked it a lot, the portions are small. You pay for the place although the food is very delicious!

Not the same as years ago! They adding 20% service charge automatically and they don’t care to provide good service as you have to pay 20% anyway. No one care to pour wine or water you have to do it yourself, no one came to ask and check if everything is fine with food. Very very disappointing!! I have been many times before but this was my first time since 2019 and definitely my last time!! Very very disappointed. Paying $400 for two people I was expecting excellent service and non of them cared - standing on the side chatting, laughing and checking cellphones was more important than customers. Terrible service! Food was average. Not the same as years ago.

It is a great place, with views and atmosphere like a movie. Furthermore, it is not an expensive place for the area, there are more touristy places that charge very similar, but the quality and even the quantity is lower. In short, every time I pass through New York, I will repeat the visit

It's a shame that people rely on reputation. Coffee was bad, pancakes were like rubber disks. Maple syrup not to be found.

Poor service. Don’t take cash and there are no mentions to it on the menu or at the entrance.

We were fairly impressed by this place, expecting good food with great views and a bit of a touristy experience. My Manhattan was perfect. The oysters were probably the best I've ever had. The clam chowder and the spare ribs were just okay, but the lobster spaghetti was very good and had generous portions of lobster. With the right item selection the food was 10/10 and all of it was presented beautifully. The views were of course good. Service was adequate, but if anything could have used polishing I think having more staff would have been it. Overall it was great. While the bill was somewhat expensive, it is definitely worth it.

We only dined in for a quick lunch the day before Thanksgiving but we really enjoyed our experience. On what is a super busy day in NYC, they didn’t miss a beat. We were seated quickly with a reservation, the restaurant was clean, and the service and food was prompt. I will definitely be back for dinner in the spring! Beautiful restaurant in a great location in the park!
