Typical Irish pub where you can have a good draft beer, I recommend Guinness, and taste everything from a hamburger to a typical plate of Irish food. Atmosphere and attention 100 points. I like to sit at the bar, I recommend it!

Pre-dinner drinks. Thumping tunes, good people, good drinks. Great bartenders. What more do you need?

One of the best pints in the city! Great atmosphere, but know it can get quite rowdy. The food is nothing to write home about, but the Guinness flows well and the staff are friendly. You might even see some drunken karaoke… which is a plus! You’d find it hard to find a better pint in the city!

I came to The Long Hall hoping to experience the fabled spice bag of Dublin origin. I got to look over a menu with impressive selection aside from my mark, and then the time came when I had full access to a spice bag and a pint of Guiness. The service was quick, my server was very nice, and the food was excellent, good portion, great cook.
Many good times to be had at The Long Hall. Sláinte ?

Spice bag was stellar. The bar tender with the long blonde hair was so incredibly kind and understanding when I had a fainting episode. I’ve had other fainting episodes where people weren’t so nice so I’m extremely greatful.

The food was ok, but the service was not good. We are from out of town and just needed a late bite so I chose this place. It’s not a super Irish bar aside from the food. the music was a DJ blasting their set which wasn’t bad but definitely didn’t expect. Food was fresh and well prepared but not well seasoned. The roast tasted like it was just made from a can. I had issue with our service. The waitress did the basic necessities but wouldn’t come our way for the tab. We had to ask someone at the bar and neither them nor our waitress came to pick up our tab. All while I felt the table next to us was more neglected. I wish this could have been better.

This has become my go to Pub in NYC. I originally tried it because the “Guinness Guru” said it had the #2 Guinness in NYC. I would actually say this is THE best Guinness in NYC (no disrespect Dead Rabbit, you got a lot of great stuff going on down there!). Ewan and Jess the regular weekday bartenders are awesome - and the food is solid. (Try the spice bag!)

The food lacked flavor. The "sirloin" burger was actually ground chuck. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked medium well. No seasoning was used in the burger. The beef stew pastry was supposed to be an entrée but it was the size of a danish. The service was horrendous. The waitress looked right at us several times and ignored our attempts to get her to come to our table so we could place our orders. We had to go to her because she was too busy flirting with the men at the bar. The atmosphere was mundane and cluttered at best.
