I came here the other night with some friends for happy hour which is referred to as Golden Hour there. It's from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They have buy one, get one food and discounted drinks (50% off wine, $10 Chandon spritz, $5 White Claws, Bud Light & their Monkey Business shot). The place is an bar/event space and the food they serve is Asian inspired dim sum style small plates. There was a private event going on that day so they moved the the tables together and made space on the dance floor since the vibe there is nightlife. My friends ordered their Brown Sugar Babe cocktail with dark rum, chocolate walnut bitters, cinnamon, orange zest. I ordered the Lift Off with Aviation Gin, elderflower, cucumber, fresh mint. I'm a gin drinker and love it with elderflower. I liked the drink. It was light and refreshing. We ordered several small plates. We stared off with the smashed cucumber with with sesame chili oil. We ordered their sweet and sour pork dumplings, General Tso's chicken dumplings and their veggie dumplings with crunchy garlic on top. I liked the veggie dumplings the best. We also ordered their scallion pancake panini with bulgogi beef, mozzarella cheese and spicy mayo which was delicious. For dessert we got the green tea mochi. Everything was good and the place has a fun vibe. Check it out.For more recommendations in NYC and more:IG: @ms_new_foodieTikTok: @msnewfoodie
Cute, tasty, refreshing cocktails made my friendly bar staff. Dumplings and the edebame were flavorful. Great place to have drinks and catch with or make new friends.
I am giving the Orchard Room a 3.5 out of 5 Stars!!I'm big on ambiance wherever I go and the Orchard fits as a great hideaway or social highlight in the bowery area of Lower Manhattan!! The food selection isn't vast however it has really unique and favorable choice selections like their scallion pancake panini(pictured above). Personally my favorite Drink selection of the evening was their "Writing on the wall"(also pictured above). So in my book as a NYC To Visit or Not To visit, Orchard is definitely a To visit and personally I may add this to my frequent stop by list each time I'm in the area for a cool lowkey but uptempo vibe partnered with a really Signature cocktail. ALSO, as a date spot, if you have a lady your looking to takeout for something up beat but dont want to go to a full scale club, Fridays and Saturdays here are supposed to get pretty active. I went on a Thursday since I personally like more louge/reserved type of night escapes!!
Was there with a friend the other day, a worker named kyda dark skin with curly hair assaulted my home girl and bruised her face and pulled her hair. People like him should not be allowed around females or that work environment!
Really lovely atmosphere and great drinks. Will definitely be coming back to this place.
Has a great time, minus a shady bartender experienceI ordered a beer with cash in hand, and he took the $10, and asked for more. So I tried to give him a $5, and asked how much the beer was, and he ignored my question and instead asked for more money. I handed over the other $5 I had, confused, and he then didn't give me change. He asked if I wanted a shot instead, as if he was being nice offering me one.Ultimately it's not a big deal - a beer and a shot for $20 isn't bad - but on principle it bothered me. I wasn't drinking much that evening and didn't appreciate being treated like that. I gave the shot to a friend and enjoyed my $20 Heineken. If I do go back I'll avoid bringing cash.
I wanted to love it but the food is just not good. Freezer aisle dumplings poorly cooked.
I went inside for a minute to use the bathroom, because we were sitting in their outdoor space, and it was beautiful plus they had a DJ which always adds a great vibe to a restaurant for me. The bouncer and wait staff was friendly but that’s where he good stuff ends.We got chicken, pork, and shrimp dumplings plus 3 drinks and I have nothing good to say about them. The menu was small enough to not be overwhelming but if that’s all you serve it has to be perfection. The dumplings were small, rubbery and cold. The chicken and pork had the same weird tangy sauce on them that added nothing in terms of flavor. If you are going to spend $17 on a portion just find an authentic dumpling place.
The ambiance was pretty stellar, but if you're only going to sell dumpings, they better be perfect. Ours came in differing amounts and sometimes cold when they should have been hot. Some of the sauces tasted like something you'd buy from the grocery store. Also, they were selling captain morgan's for like $600. Get real
Orchard Room breathes fresh air into LES. Food is great, drinks are delightful, the staff are very friendly and the music is always on point. I highly recommend checking it out!

IT BE POPPIN. everyone should go and dance all night long.
Awesome aesthetic, food, and staff. My friends and I never had so much fun sitting down (Covid restrictions). The food is flavorful, but not heavy where you can keep enjoying your night without being bogged down by a big meal. Drinks and music were also 10/10.
Absolutely amazing! The food and drinks are incredible. My girlfriend and I ate thru the entire menu including all the food, drinks and desserts. The atmosphere is perfect for any occasion or mood you’re in. The staff and owners are over the top accommodating and super friendly. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go here. 100% would recommend to anybody and everybody. Can’t wait to go back!
Delicious dumplings and creative cocktails. A great ambiance created by an intimate setting filled with good, positive energy that was both warm and welcoming. Can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!
Sweet new spot in the LES. Indoor and outdoor seating, great cocktails, fun dim sum menu. DJ on the Friday I went was groovy af.
