Dining at The Palm is elegant without being pompous. The cocktails were innovative and refreshing. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of crab cake, Gigi salad, Ribeye and three side vegetables, ending with a lovely light carrot cake and coffee. Our server, Michael, was gracious and helpful, available when needed but never hovering. We'll be back.
The waiter, Jeffrey, and overall service was excellent. Really great service, prompt, cordial, and flexible. Worth the visit and then some.
I do not know what happened to the Palm. Once a storied steakhouse, it felt like a terrible wasted dining experience. The Wedge said was not a wedge, but in shreds, the lobster appetizer was chewy. The burrata salad came with the tiniest piece of burrata. The steaks were just ok - not bad, but nothing memorable. We had one vegetarian in our group and I was offered the vegetarian parm with a marinara sauce (a dish from the menu served without the chicken). THE WORST $40 pasta I've ever had. Completely lacked flavor - not to mention they charged me the full price for it even though there was no chicken. The martinis were great. The service was good, but the food was terrible. Safe to say we will not be going back.
Servers were nice but they disappeared. Food was good. But not hot. And they should just do better. If they can.
The Palm West has stepped up its game from the old Palm and Palm II on Second Avenue that have closed down. The food, the service, everything was top notch. One of the best steakhouses in New York.
The best thing that Paul can do is make amazing meals available and out quickly enough that you can enjoy your show on Broadway. This experience this time was like every time... perfection.
Excellent food, the lunch special was reasonable and amazing food choices. Service is excellent, and a lovely place to eat.
It was a true joy to be at the Palm West. Hayley greeted us with a beautiful smile and was just lovely. Our waiter Manny couldn't have been more professional and charming. He was so kind ever so gracious and made a point of acknowledging my sister's birthday. It was so, so thoughtful and my sister was just thrilled. He was extremely attentive and this meant the world to both of us. He made our lunch and our day memorable and of course, the food is always perfection.
Great service! The lobster mac and cheese was ok, everything else was good!

Food "off-the-charts". Service exceptional. Will make The Palm a part of my usual stops for dining going forward.

Drove up from. Virginia to catch wicked yesterday with my friend and decided to eat here due to the proximity to the venue. Had calamari with their house bread and their steak, roasted garlic and a salad for the main. About three house into our ride home I had to throw up a lot! Fortunately I was able to make it home and am now nursing my stomach to get ready for work in the morning. Be warned!

I have been going to the Palm in Boston and New York for years. I have been in Vegas and Atlanta too.... always been great food, great service, although pricey. Last night, driving through the area after a long car trip, we decided to stop for dinner.... it was quiet and we got a table right away. The staff was as usual great! much to our dismay, the food was terrible. The steaks were dry as a bone. there was not even a trickle of juice on our plate. For the price, this should not have happened! our service was excellent though and we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the experience!

There is a reason it is easy to get a table here - it is just not worth the $100 per person it eat here. A once great chain gobbled up into the Landry’s empire. Crab cakes were awful. Over fried. Hashbrowns were cold. Very disappointing - gone are the Bruce Bozzi days. 😞

Usually love The Palm both in DC & NY. But this time, The Palm was empty. The food (very surprisingly) just so-so. Very good and pretty attentive servers - but not as attractive as one would expect in an empty restaurant. My take is just an off night all around. Still highly recommend.
