Ordered chicken. It was way overcooked. Skin was burnt. Tasted dry as leather. Told Maitre'd - he didn't seem to care. Would have told waiter but didn't see him until he brought the check.
What an incredible “Paris-in-New-York” experience! From the moment you step inside, you're transported by the soft lighting, beautiful décor, and chic furniture, all while keeping a subtle New York edge with the Tin tiled ceilings. The menu is pure French cuisine at its best—every dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Service was outstanding: gracious servers speaking French made us feel like we were dining on the Left Bank. A live jazz band added to the magic, creating a festive, happy atmosphere. We were celebrating my sister's birthday, and the chef and team surprised us with a sparkling cake, making the evening unforgettable. A truly elegant, warm, and celebratory night—Parisian charm with New York energy. Highly recommended!
Nice restaurant Small salads but alright 6/10 Burger 4/10. Sloppy. Roll was falling apart..delivered to bar customer inadvertently than redirected to us after 20 seconds on the bar. Kinda killed the vibe :( Steaks were delicious as were FF. 8/10 Wouldn't go back
Great cocktails and food, everything was very fresh and delicious! I'm glad this has reopened under new management, and will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu. This is a much better choice than anything over at tin building or pier 17!
Over priced, luke warm onion soup, and cheesy French music that sounded like Ratatouille. Unimpressed!
Service was lovely, ambiance is killer — love it so much — just like Paris. Escargot should have been hotter. Everything else was perfect. Will definitely go back.
The newly reopened Paris Café in the Seaport is a small Art Nouveau jewel box, the sort of room that makes you lower your voice and take in the details: the soft lighting, the glint of brass, the quiet hum of the dining room. Service, often treated as an afterthought in New York these days, is alive and well here. The staff moves with an ease that feels both polished and personal, and the owner makes a point of greeting tables, as if to remind you that hospitality is part of the meal.
The kitchen delivers, too. A steak with Béarnaise sauce arrives perfectly cooked, a dish that could hold its own against any of the city’s big-ticket steakhouses. Paired with a thoughtful glass from the concise wine list, it’s a reminder that dining out can still feel like an occasion. This is a brasserie meant for lingering, an hour or two that slips by as if you were tucked into a quiet street in Paris.

Passed by this newly reopened spot near the South Street Seaport and decided to stop in. The staff was professional, the space is beautiful, and the food was fantastic. We shared the cheeseburger, roast chicken, steak tartare, and escargot—highly recommend all of them and don't skip the chocolate mousse! I spoke with the owner who mentioned DJ music on Friday nights; I will come back to check that out.
Great job with the opening the place is fabulous and food was delicious. Service was a little slow but also understand it's still new so the team are still learning and training.
Food wasn't great. Service was erratic. Overpriced for what it was and for the neighborhood. The place was beautiful though, so that was a plus.

I dropped by twice in a week for some drinks/meet a Brooklyn pal while doing business at Pier 17 for a couple of nights. Loved it so much the first night that I repeated the experience. Had some nice draft beers and tequila and enjoyed watching the world go by at a little window table. I’ll be back in August!
Highly recommend. The owner went above and beyond to make my African American friends and I feel welcome. Food was delish...service was exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Great evening at the newly re-opened Paris Cafe! Happy to have it back in the neighborhood better than before! Cocktails were crisp, tuna crudo fresh and filet au poivre phenomenal! We'll be back!
Under new management, this Sunday lunch spot was a total treat before wandering the Seaport. Every thing from the charming room to the friendly, attentive service to the food was top notch. All our items were amazing: cocktail and mocktail, cheese-filled gougeres, roasted carrots in a dense peppers-and-pumpkin seed sauce, beautiful endive salad with toasted walnuts and blue cheese, mille crepes in chocolate sauce and nectarine clafoutis.
After months of renovation, we wondered if we’d ever get to come back to Paris Café. I’m so glad we did. We came back tonight on the night of their reopening to an incredibly warm and welcoming staff. The hostess (I didn’t catch her name) was the sweetest and our bartender (Pablo or Paolo, again I didn’t catch his name) was so incredibly lovely and kind. The people who work here really want to make sure you’re having a good time. I cannot recommend enough! Get a reservation, go early, chat with the bartender and when you order dinner make sure to get the beef tartare. We really love it here and are so glad to see it bring that little corner of Seaport back to life. Cheers!
