Oh man. I’m obsessed. Since this place opened, I have been an avid consumer of the chocolate chip cookie and black & white cookie. They’re not lying when they are saying the best in NYC - big claim, but it is true. Everything else looks amazing, but I tend to stick to my favorites because they are so good. I always bring friends visiting me in town here, and bring their cookies with me when I travel to friends and family. Really impressed with the operation Tiara has built! Cookies at $5 are on the pricier side, but 100% worth it.

Great cookie spot. Got the chocolate chip and the black and white and both were delicious. Wish the chocolate chip had a little less salt (or none) but I just scrubbed it off. A top cookie in NY for me

Wow!!! I visited the Pastry Box today and was absolutely blown away. By far the best black and white cookie I’ve ever had in my life and arguably one of the best chocolate chip cookies in NYC. I highly recommend going out of your way to try this spot. I cant wait to go back and try more on the menu!!

I was extremely excited for this place, especially given the 5 star status. Overall I was let down, as some items were hits, but more were misses. From best to worst:
Kitchen sink cookie: 9/10. Amazing cookie. It had a lot of different components but they all worked together so well.
Black and white cookie: 8.5/10. Also great cookie. The icing was so well balanced with the cookie itself. The right amount of sweetness with strong flavor and the cookie was moist.
0. I was most excited for this because I'm a big brownie fan, and it also looked great. But it was oddly bitter. Texture was ok. Generally an average brownie with nothing special.
0. Nothing special. Looked great but dont be fooled. Tasted like a regular donut.
Oreo-like cookie with creme filling: 3/10. Not much flavor.
S'mores seasonal tart: 2/10. Could barely eat it. So overwhelmingly sweet and just one note. Ultimately gave taste and consistency like chocolate pudding.
Chocolate chip cookie: 2/10. Barely any flavor. Boring texture.

This bakery is fabulous and is underrated. Some of the best treats I’ve ever had in NYC — and I’ve been to most of the “best” bakeries. The black & white cookie is the shining star, closely followed by the chocolate chip cookie and brown butter brownie. Cannot wait to come back.
