Restaurant options in NYC are just about endless. But time and again, I come back to The Pho Lexington. Design and decor are simple, modern, and uncluttered. Service is fast, pleasant, and efficient. Prices are quite moderate. And the food is unreal!
My favs: The grilled chicken Pho is the best I've ever had. And the Bahn Mi is fantastic

came on a weekday 4pm, not busy. both our orders took less than 10 minutes to come out at the same time. lemongrass chicken (dry) vermicelli was decent but more on the salty side which left me thirsty. my friend got the grilled pork banh mi & Thai ice tea 🧋 both were decent too. prices are reasonable, waitress and staff were polite, got a stomach ache from the vermicelli though

Anthony Bourdain once said in Parts Unknown, “For me, a good bowl of pho will always make me happy”. I can agree with him there. My fav spot in the upper east side is Pho Lexington at 788 Lexington Ave. The place is charming and fast, the staff is kind and the prices are great, not to mention the food is unreal. Chicken pho and brisket and flank pho r my favs with a lil extra hoisen and some chili oil chefs kiss.

My family and I stumbled into this pho restaurant after a long day and with insatiable appetites. We fell in love. The pho is exactly what it should be: hot, delicious, and full of noodles. Since that fateful evening, not a month has gone by without visiting our culinary paradise. Everyone who works here is an absolute delight. Their smiles light up a room and they are quick to help in any way they can. I have celiac disease along with a dairy allergy and have been accommodated every time. I often go with a friend who is strictly vegetarian and he is happy by the number of choices available and by how delicious his meals always are.
