Absolute gem of a neighborhood spot! Food is phenomenal--love the short ribs and meatballs, but my top dish is the mussels. The broth is spectacular, incredibly flavorful and addictive. They serve perfectly toasted Sullivan Street Bakery bread (I often find myself ordering an extra serving). Of course the wine is excellent, and they can guide you to the perfect glass to pair with anything you are eating here.
It's the ideal place to catch up with friends, go on a date, host business meals, or grab a glass of wine at the bar solo. Long live The Purple Tongue! We are lucky to have them here.
This is a perfect neighborhood spot for a cozy and relaxing evening. I love their extensive wine list, and food menu that is homemade style. They also have an outdoor terrace and it is a perfect for the beautiful day for drinking happy hour wines. And their special Vongole & Ragu pasta with white sauce are exceptionally delicious. Strongly recommended!!
I loved this place! Sitting at the front patio is a lot of fun, though located in Times Square it has serenity atmosphere. Relaxing and beautiful. They accommodated a vegetarian dish for me and it was so delicious! What a perfect place for wine & dine.
Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is fantastic—cozy yet lively, perfect for a night out. The food was delicious; we had pasta and mussels, and both were amazing. The appetizers were also a standout—so flavorful and well-prepared. Definitely pair your meal with wine. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly—don’t hesitate to ask for a wine recommendation. Highly recommend!
What a great find near the theater district! Excellent food, wine, music, artwork, ambience and superbly knowledgeable staff! Will return asap!
Intimate venue for wine and bites.
Extra care and attention to your experience by the staff and owner.
Delicious 😋
The bruschetta and the cantabrian anchovies are extraordinary, the mussels in a savory white wine tomato sauce are a must!
Peter is one of the few people I know that truly understands and has immersed himself in the concept of hospitality. From the very moment we entered the door we were met by such warmth and a tranquil energy. Peter and his team have curated a great wine program that has something for everyone, at an affordable price point. The food was also excellent—get the meatballs!! We were coming from Greenpoint, and I can tell you that this place is worth the hike! Thank you Peter!!
A hidden gem!
We finished a late Broadway show at 11 pm and were looking for a wine bar. We arrived just as the owner Peter was closing up for the night. Although it's supposed to be open until 1 am, he explained that no one had been in for the last 2 hours. Understandably, he was closing up early, but he kindly agreed to stay open for us and I'm very thankful that he did. We had a blast! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about wine and we made a new friend.
Please support this small local establishment so that it's still here the next time we come to visit! I definitely want to come back here again!
This was our first time stopping in this hidden gem of a restaurant. Everything was top notch, the food, the service, and their wine list is amazing. There is a wine for every person’s taste and budget

Romantic ambiance. Friendly server. Delicious wild mushroom brushetta.
One of the best tapas restaurants I’ve had anywhere in NYC and a diamond in the rough for the Times Square.l area.
Highly recommend coming here before or after broadway shows or any time you’re craving Italian and Spanish tapas with a very nice selection of wine.
Happy hour 4-6 PM
Excellent little wine bar, loved the steak tips really well cooked to order, wine flight a night nice way of tasting different wines, well done team Peter Wade
We had the short ribs and Spinach ricotta pasta and it was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly, there was a good wine selection, and the service was amazing.
Me and my friends came to NYC and we really wanted to go to a wine bar. We chose this one due to the proximity to our hotel and I couldn't be happier we did! We didn't realize they were closing and the owner graciously extended his hours so we could try some wines. Not only were the wines delicious, but the atmosphere was cozy and we felt super incredible welcome by the owner and staff. Thank you for keeping your door open to us! We hope to come back very soon :)
