Always a good time! Are you open or going through renovations?

I used to love this bar pre Covid but went for 80s night not long ago and they were only playing “80s inspired music”… whatever that means. Asked the DJ to play the B52s and he’d never heard of them. Need I say more?Honestly was just seeing if anyone had similar experiences but the condescending comments from the new management inspired me to leave this bad review. Can no longer recommend :(Update: And the condescending response from owner has been added! Seriously no one support this awful business.

Great place to come dance on a weekend. They have great 80's music all night. Usually gets full by around 12 with everyone dancing. Cheap beers and cover is only $7. It's cash only so be prepared in advance and enjoy the retro vibes. The bar tenders are cool and quick to service you.

So disappointed. We've been coming here for years and have had the time of our lives. It's much different. No more dancing on the stage. The downstairs section is closed. No more smoke machine. The old DJ was super friendly and accommodating to requests. The new one (Fri night) is dismissive and arrogant. The crowd is more conservative. None of the crazy characters we loved. Sad.

Our bartender had more to drink than we did and it seemed non of them understood the concept of a beer with a slice of lime. As for the music I would liken it to a early 90s middle school dance but that would be an insult to early 90s dances. Who the hell plays danger zone at a club? I found this place searching for goth clubs, it was not remotely that, even when I tried to take it for it was my friend said it best "the whitest dancing to the whitest music that ever whited" and that has little to do with the races of those inside

Awesome place with great music. Staff was super fun and friendly, GoGo dancer was immaculate, people were great. Love this spot - an absolute gem.

Came here from out of town looking for an eighties night. We were there for two hours. Very surprised at the song choices. Was let down by the selection

This is the place if you want to dance the night away to nonstop 80s club mix. All are accepted on the dance floor so put on your red shoes and dance the blues…Ps- it’s a cash only bar!

Good music (mix of reggaeton and hip hop). Hookah is alright. Flavor is gone quickly.

Came here dancing the other night with a few friends. I had never been here before but someone in our group wanted 80s music and we ended up here. We all had a great time singing at the top of our lungs amongst an eclectic, nice crowd. It definitely had people in here on a Saturday night at 1am but by no means was it overcrowded. Felt like the right combo. The space itself gives a little bit of dive bar energy but I don't mind. The two things that disappointed me were: 1. There was a $7 cover, even for women @ 1am. It almost deterred us from coming in as people coming out of the bar were telling us how bad it was inside. I do understand cover charges but I didn't feel like $7 was worth it on top of drinks for this establishment. 2. There was only one bartender working upstairs. Not sure if this was just an odd occurrence but the bar was busy enough to warrant 2 bartenders. It took us 20 minutes just to get the bartenders attention as she kept skipping over us. Quite frustrating. Overall though, I had a nice time and even started a fun conga line at one point. I'd probably go again but maybe to start instead of the end up. 3/5

Came here early on a Saturday night (around 9:30) with a friend who came frequently before 2020 and had fond memories. It was pretty slow since it was so early, of course, since it the night was still young, but that suited us fine since we just wanted space to dance. No cover, which is always great. Security at the door was strict but kind; my friend had to leave her water bottle at the front and got it back when we left. Drinks are on the low end for usual NYC prices ($9 for well cocktails) and the music is indeed all 80's, all the time. We did try and see if the DJ would take requests since it was only us and two other patrons in the dance area, but he declined. He told us his strategy is to play deeper cuts early in the night and save the bangers for when things get going later on, around 11 onwards. We ended up moving on around 10:30; it was still pretty quiet, but I'm sure on the right night this place is a great pick to stop in for some pure eighties nostalgia.

I went here for my 26th birthday with two good friends of mine and we sang our hearts out to Madonna "girls just wanna have fun" danced to Love is a battle field and drank to Prince's I wanna be your lover. I had a fun time. I did however notice that the DJ would switch btw decades of music when I specifically went to an I love the 80s club.
