Very disappointing experience during our recent visit. We made a reservation and confirmed online that your happy hour included $1 tacos and $9 margaritas, as stated on the Resy page, but we were directed to OpenTable to make the final reservation. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that this was no longer the case. When seated, our server immediately informed us that we had only 90 minutes for our reservation. However, she took about 15 minutes to take our drink order and then disappeared for the remainder of our visit. We waited roughly 45 minutes for anyone to return, and only after flagging down another server were we able to place our food order. Our food arrived around 7 p.m.—just as our allotted time was supposedly ending—and was served lukewarm (some taco meat was even partially frozen). Throughout the meal, our server did not check in once, yet returned at the end to rush us because she needed to turn over the table. It then took an additional 20 minutes to receive our check. We ultimately left closer to 8 p.m., making us late for the concert we had planned to attend across the street—one of the reasons we had specifically chosen your restaurant. Overall, we were very disappointed in both the service and the food quality. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously, as we expected a much better experience based on your reputation and happy hour promotions.
Good food and atmosphere, but I think there was a corporate event or two happening while my friends and I were having dinner, so the space was very crowded and loud. Servers were extremely courteous and responsive.
Absolutely loved it! Amazing atmosphere and great music Really lovely staff Food spot on If I come to New York again (which I intend too) I'll definitely come back here 🥰Xx
I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant and even came here for my mother's birthday. I was excited to check it out, but unfortunately the service just wasn't on point. Our server didn't write down our order, brought out the wrong tacos, never checked back in, and even forgot my drink. When I asked about it, she simply said they were out of it without offering anything else instead. The margaritas were very watered down, although the michelada was good. They don't really carry authentic spicy hot sauce when I asked, I was only given Cholula, so I wouldn't call this spot truly authentic Mexican, even though the setup is cool. On the positive side, the taco-making staff was great and there was a nice DJ. If you're here just for the views and maybe a bottled beer, it might be worth stopping by. Otherwise, there are so many other places in NYC that offer a better, more authentic experience.
I’ve never in my life felt so blatantly racially profiled at a restaurant. From the second me and my partner walked in, it was clear we weren’t welcome.
• The security guard set the tone immediately. Instead of showing basic hospitality, he acted like we were a burden, even radioing upstairs as if our presence was a problem.
• It took over 30 minutes before a server even came to our table. When he finally did, the first thing out of his mouth wasn’t a greeting, it was a demand for my card — as if I was about to dine and dash.
• Only after I opened my wallet and he saw how much cash I had did he backtrack, mutter “never mind, you’re fine,” and stormed off. The passive-aggressiveness was loud and clear. Later on he gave up our table as if we were, once again, a burden
• To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, their system crashed and I was forced to sit another 30 minutes waiting. No accommodation, no discount, nothing but a hollow apology that didn’t feel genuine at all.
Here’s the kicker: the food and atmosphere were actually great. But none of that matters when the staff makes it painfully obvious that if you’re not white, or don’t “dress white,” you’re treated as less than.
If you care about being respected as a paying customer, I can’t recommend this place. Good food isn’t worth enduring open disrespect and profiling.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend this rooftop. The service was terrible we waited over 20 minutes just to get our drinks, and even then the staff seemed completely uninterested in helping us. Definitely not worth it. Music its great though!

Service was terrible. Bartender and server were super rude. Wanted to order food but server ignored us all night. Drinks were gross. $73 for 3 drinks and card got charged twice and once was for $134 absolutely disgusting.

My first time here and will be the last. The only good thing about this place was that it was a rooftop and cute for photos. I waited 30 minutes for a margarita and the waitress with the glasses was clueless. The menu sucks no options and drinks were overpriced. I was fine with the false advertisement of $1 tacos and $9 margaritas. I had a reservation and asked to be on tnr sofa and when I got there I was told I couldn’t sit there. I was also told I had 2 hour limit at my table, the hostess was not friendly and appeared overworked.
This place was the worst rooftop experience ever smh

Great place. Bouncer working at 6:40pm on Thursday has an unpleasant attitude though. For such a great place he makes the entry less than desirable. Borderline rude.

Would NOT recommend for group reservations - overpriced and a scam!! We had a small group reserve for an open bar package ($75 a person) promised for 2 hours. After 1.5 hours we went to the bar to get a final round, and the bartenders spent 15 minutes clearly avoiding us. Once we finally ordered and a bartender made the drinks, she asked us to pay. We showed our open bar wristbands and she said the open bar ended 15 minutes ago - which was 30 minutes before the promised end time, but also after we had gotten up to the bar. When we argued for the bar package again, she looked us in the eye and poured all the drinks down the drain. If she had stated that the open bar was done before we ordered we never would have let her make drinks only to waste them.

Nice chill spot to start off an evening out. Cool vibes with familiar Latin signature drinks. Music was a bit low, and I've actually read reviews where people said it was previously too loud. Guessing this is the reason for the change. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
The customer service at The Ready Rooftop was disappointing the staff was inattentive and took way too long to serve us. Both the food and drinks were bland and overpriced, making the experience not worth it. The Ready Rooftop was a letdown — they falsely advertised $9 margaritas and $1 tacos, but we were charged full price. On top of that, the customer service was slow and unbothered, and the food and drinks weren't even good.
The waitress with the glasses needs to go. I came with a group of 10 and she was truly horrible. We had to wave her down a number of times to finally get her attention. She then proceeded to “memorize”all our orders… until the food came out in which half our meals were missing. I don’t even want to bother with the details, but this scores one of the worst experiences from a staff member to date. However, all that aside, the food and drinks are great. And the atmosphere is wonderful. I recommend this place for mid sized crowds, just be mindful the service isn’t all there.
