Had a great Saturday brunch. The homemade corned beef hash was fantastic. Very accommodating and polite service. We will definitely return!

I was surprised the food so mediocre ., I used to go to this restaurant for dinner in the past and thought it was a nice neighborhood place . I was surprised at how poor the food presentation and preparation was for brunch .

I came for a celebration event sponsored by the Alzheimer's Walk. And Yes! The fried chicken is good! Wagyu beef negamaki was yummy! Fried oyster over pickled jalapeños deviled egg had a bit too much mayo but was very fun to eat. I enjoyed the broccoli rabe although it was a little tough. I was not a fan of edamame dumplings though. The service was exceptional-polite, efficient even with just refilling your ice water and clearing your table of mess. The ambience was very friendly and inviting. I would brings friend family, friends, young or old here. There is something for everyone.

I've been to the Ribbon numerous times over the years and have had wonderful meals. Last night was the first time the food was not up to par. We were a party of 10. Three of the meals were disappointing- overcooked or undercooked. But my meal was great- I ordered the Amish half chicken and it was fabulous as was the lemongrass dumplings and sushi..

Very nice staff. Very good quality food. Noisy at the time we went but did not take away from the enjoyment.

Terrific food and service. Was a delightful dinner on Christmas Day ! Staff really went out of their way to treat us well. I'm not a regular reviewer, but felt this experience was noteworthy. We'll be back again soon.

★★★★★ The Ribbon on the Upper West Side is one of our favorite dining spots! My family and I eat here once a month, and each visit is a delightful experience. The food is consistently great, offering a fantastic variety that keeps us coming back for more. What truly sets The Ribbon apart is the warm and welcoming service. The staff always goes above and beyond to make us feel at home, adding to the overall charm of the restaurant. Whether it's a special occasion or just a casual meal, we know we're in for a treat. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible poke bowl with mayo all over it. I told the server I didn't care for it. He said sorry, left the plate and still charged me. Will not be going back.

Great restaurant, great vibe, great environment. We have come here the last two times on our visits to NYC. We’ll go back again. The pricing of their wine felt a little bit expensive, and they charged us $4.50 a glass for soda water which seemed excessive.

Ever since The ribbon parted with the blue ribbon restaurant group, it’s gone downhill. I gave them a few chances but each time something off putting happened. My personal favorite was when I ordered a dirty martini and the waiter brought me a regular martini. I made them aware of the problem and instead of making me a new cocktail the manager brought me a side of warm olive juice to add to my drink. One time, our waiter managed to serve us an entire meal without looking at us or speaking to us. Once he took our order he would just breeze by and drop stuff on the table including the bill. It wasn’t even a busy night. And tonight I spoke to someone about a reservation they were cancelling (because they had been bought out on that date) and that person was pretty rude. “We’ve been calling you since Sunday.” Actually no. You called me twice on Sunday, left no message, and when I called several times on Monday, no one at your poorly managed restaurant picked up the phone. Honestly the only reason I booked the table in the first place was because they had a table for a large party. Won’t be back.
