Super close to Carnegie Hall which is why we chose it... but we'll be back for beautifully crafted cocktails and excellent bar food selections, not to mention great service and vibe!

Always like coming to the rickey when I'm in this part of town. Great cocktails and this time the bartender was happy to make any of them "virgin" without the alcohol for us since we weren't drinking that night. So much better than places that have just one or two non alcoholic versions!! Highly recommend!

We didn't have food, but the drinks, service, and atmosphere were great! My husband and I went here several nights during our trip.

This place is a hidden gem and I'm so happy a SAG event in the area forced me to dive in and explore. I used to "bartend" as did my bestie in the photos. But watching Hassan (12 years+ experience) was like being in the presence of a #Master . I have never seen so much care put into any drink in my entire life. Every glass was a work of art, and so amazing. The 2 days we spent there was the most fun I had in a long time. I wish I was in the area more. Stop by and treat yourself to a show as your exquisite drink is being crafted in a way that Gordon Ramsay would be proud of. ?? . Hassan showed me you can put drinks in a cup or you can create a drinkable work of art.. ????

I visited this place with a few of my friends and fiancé. It was great! The cocktails are top notch, they’re expensive but worthy. The bites they have are also tasty, my favorites were the grilled cheese & kale and artichoke

Overall - great spot and def worth trying out. Great for after dinner/show drinks. I will be coming back!Drink highlights below:- AMAZING- Def worth the having a night date night with great cocktails- For those who enjoy mock tails, I highly recommend the Paloma.Food highlights below:- The grilled cheese and kale artichoke dip were awesome - highly recommend- The wagyu skewers were not worth it- The chicken skewers were good but just a little salty - worth trying because I’m sure the saltiness was just a limited batch.Service highlights below:- Professional staff- Helpful with the menu and figuring out which cocktail is best based on your preferencesAtmosphere highlights below:- The vibe is very chill and cozy- Easy to have a good conversation considering the volume of the music and other guests.- Lighting is pretty bad. It’s way too dark. Just making the room one notch brighter would make a difference.

We stopped in here for a quick drink before we went to Broadway.Service: The service was great, even though they had a reservation they were happy to give us a table for an hour and we were happy for that.Ambiance: The place is very cute with its velvet chairs and gold tables. There are elegant lamps scattered everywhere for great lighting. They also have put a lot of thought into food and drinks presentation.Food: We got the truffle popcorn and grilled cheese. Both were very good. They definitely didn’t skimp on the truffle in the popcorn and it was clearly fresh popped. The grilled cheese was also very good and came with a really nice jam.Drinks: Unfortunately, the drinks really didn’t meet our expectations. They just tasted off and some tasted bitter too. It almost felt as if the ratios of ingredients were off. We ordered 4 drinks and out of 4 drinks only one was decent so that was disappointing.Instagram: @TheShahLALand

Came here late on a Friday night and ordered the lavender lady. It was heavy on the lavender but not overbearing, so I really enjoyed it. The drink was well made and well balanced. The ambiance is dimly lit and chic. Service was decently good.

Service was first inattentive, then slow, then - well - bad, possibly crooked (having to search for staff any time anything was wanted was bad, but were those two extra appetizers unaccountably slipped on the tab through Incompetence or greed?). Based on last night's visit this place should subsist entirely on the custom of unwary tourists and New Yorkers unfortunate enough not to have been warned off. No surprise the bar next door was packed during happy hour and this place nearly empty; the door directly into the lobby of a hotel is an essential part of the Rickey's business model.

All the vibes of a speakeasy hidden in plain sight. Located next to Tanner Smiths, the cocktail bar has great drinks and a very relaxed and secretive atmosphere. A perfect spot to escape tourists, and crowded bars. They have comfy couches, good service and amazing drinks. I had the Lavender Girl cocktail which was excellent. This is a perfect date spot and place to relax after a long day.

Cute lil date spot as it's very romantic and dim. Went here in a random Monday evening and it wasn't overrun with tourists being it is located smack midtown. The drinks were strong and delicious. It wasn't too crowded and the service staff was friendly. Would pass by again.

My husband surprised me and took me here for my birthday.Let’s start with the good. The cocktails - 9/10, it’s a true cocktail bar with true cocktail masters. The room is great with nice dark lounge atmosphere. Now the bad. The service is SLOW. Either they are understaffed or they need to find a way to only serve bar patrons. Even when about half the bar was empty we had no one come to our table serval times and went to the bar. When we went to the bar they told us they’d come to our table… and never did. This even happened when paying. Bar tender was nice and offered tequila shots for free. The music doesn’t fit the atmosphere (80/90s rock/indie maybe?) and overly loud takes away from the visual lounge atmosphere. Also had a reservation and couldn’t be seated, ended up getting a table with a vase between us and very income table chairs while groups of 7 shared a four top and couples shared a 4 too (bad management of seating).
