Hands down the worst bar experience I’ve ever had. The River is an absolute joke of an establishment. My group and I were literally kicked out without a single reason. We weren’t loud, we weren’t causing problems, we were just spending money like every other customer. The staff acted like total amateurs — rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional.
The cherry on top? We had a high-profile attorney with us who was absolutely disgusted by their behavior. If the staff thinks it’s a good business model to treat paying customers like garbage in front of someone who could dismantle their reputation in court, that tells you everything you need to know about how clueless this place is.
Do yourself a favor: skip The River. There are countless better bars in the city where you won’t be treated like dirt for no reason. This place deserves to sink.

This place was a vibe! Drinks were good. Service was pretty slow and it wasn't crazy busy - the bartender didn't seem bothered, I'd perhaps say more experienced and friendlier bartenders would do this place wonders as it has potential - it was giving I am just a student I don't get paid enough to care about my job?

I love the river. with my whole chest lol. the drinks are strong. it’s always full of hot people (are they hot or are you drunk and it’s dark?). there are no windows. from inside the river you can’t see the outside world and they can’t see you. the river is a world unto itself. a world that i look forward to exploring each time I visit. take me back! also they serve a terrific hot dog!
