Ordered delivery via DoorDash and got the Pad See Ew with shrimp and Papaya Salad. Delivery was prompt and the food came warm. The pad see ew was tasty and was pleasantly surprised that it had more shrimp than I would’ve expected (it was $2 additional for shrimp). The papaya salad was a little salty but had the perfect amount of spice. It was a perfect combo! I definitely want to try the green curry and other dishes next time.

Absolutely delicious food. Generous portions, reasonable prices, beautiful ambience and great service. We had the duck curry and papaya salad, both were authentic, flavour-packed and warmed our souls. We will be back again for sure!

If you’re on the hunt for authentic, flavor-packed Thai food near NoHo, The Sabieng Thai is a gem that deserves all the praise. Even though I ordered takeout, from the moment I stepped inside to pick up my food, I was captivated by the restaurant’s cozy yet elegant ambiance. The warm lighting, tasteful Thai-inspired decor, and the subtle aroma of lemongrass, basil, and chilies filling the air immediately set the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
Now, let’s talk about the Tom Yum Soup a true masterpiece. The broth is an intoxicating blend of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, and Thai chilies, creating the perfect harmony of tangy, spicy, and umami flavors. Every sip warms the soul, while the chicken and mushrooms soak up all that aromatic goodness.
The Spicy Basil Fried Rice is pure comfort food with a fiery kick. The moment I opened the container, I was hit with the mouthwatering scent of Thai basil, garlic, and bird’s eye chilies. Each grain of rice was coated in a perfectly balanced sauce, with pork adding the perfect bite. The spice level was just right enough to wake up your taste buds without overpowering the dish.
Then came the Pad Thai, which was nothing short of spectacular. The noodles were flawlessly cooked, stir-fried with tamarind, palm sugar, fish sauce, and a hint of crushed peanuts, creating a beautiful balance of sweet, savory, and slightly tangy flavors. The fresh lime wedge on the side added just the right citrusy brightness to round it all out.
The Papaya Salad was a refreshing contrast to the richer dishes. Crisp, shredded green papaya, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy peanuts were tossed in a zesty dressing made with fish sauce, lime juice, and just the right amount of Thai chilies. It was bold, fresh, and packed with flavor, making it the perfect side to complement the meal.
To top it all off, the Strawberry Lemonade was an absolute delight. The balance between sweet, tart, and fruity was spot on, making it the perfect drink to cool down after all the spices.
Even though I had takeout, the attention to detail, freshness, and bold flavors made it feel like I was dining in. Everything was packaged perfectly, keeping the dishes hot and flavorful. Sabieng Thai is a must-try. The care they put into their food is evident in every bite. Highly recommend.

I loved the service and the vibe inside this restaurant, food was good and prices were very decent compared to the nearby dine in restaurants.

A gem of a classic Thai eatery. The Taro spring rolls are yummy. I had the herb fried brown rice with Tofu. Flavorful to the max. Nicely prepared delicious. My partner had green veggies curry which was lovely. Made with light coconut milk and brown rice. This was our first time here but it wont be our last.

Also one of my favorites, though I've experienced it being strangely slow before. Absolutely amazing chive pancake, roti with green curry and other dishes
The experience was 10/10. The food was amazing, we ordered the Drunken Noodle and the red curry both were amazing. The service was amazing as well, and the price was super reasonable! Would definitely visit again!
