Came by to the Seville for a girls night and the manager Aaron really helped us make sure we had a great time. Drinks were phenomenal, highly recommend the Mary Rose. They have live music on rotation and I really wanted to go in on a night where they had jazz & Aaron really helped accommodate for that. Food was pretty good, a little expensive but typical for NYC- the vibes made up for it haha.

The customer service at the door was shockingly poor. As we approached Lord Farquaad and his 2 companions, one of them whispered something to him, which immediately gave off a bad vibe. They stared at us without any greeting or acknowledgment—no “hello,” no “welcome,” nothing. Farquaad coldly stated, “$500 for a bottle,” with no courtesy at all. It was clear they didn’t want us there! Why would he assume we were interested in a bottle without offering a menu?
Next, he quoted $300 for the bar and simply looked at us in silence (still no greeting!) My partner agreed to the price, and Farquaad asked for his card. I was in disbelief that entry seemed to hinge on this payment? However, when Farquaad noticed one of my friends was wearing trainers, the mood shifted again. That was a dealbreaker and we were turned away.
The whole experience felt not only rude but also blatantly prejudice. They did not want us there from the lack of greeting to the overly priced entry. As Black British newcomers to NY, we’ve never encountered anything like this. NYC is a vibrant, multicultural city that embraces all walks of life. Seville, is this the type of customer service you are promoting? The door workers representing you are diabolical. A place like this has no place here.

Very disappointed with our experience. We had a reservation and we thought that would allow us a seat. When we apptemted to sit down, the bartender did not allow us and gave it to someone else. I asked the host where we could sit and explained our experience with the bar seats. He dismissed my questions. We were the only black people in there, except for the security and cost check person. Although the music was great - old school hip hop, the crowd was very vanilla. Honestly, I was a little offended - felt a little like appropriation. On your website there’s a good menu and does not state that food is not served after a certain hour. No where did we see the option to order. Will never come back!

Could not share about my food experience however I believe they serve the same or close to the same as scarpetta located in the same hotel. What a beautiful bar/lounge and they had a private room that is to die for !
We were lucky to experience some live Jazz / music on a Thursday night which we loved ! Drinks were so good !

I wish I could give negative zero stars This place is so racist it’s disgusting.
The host and the bouncer were really rude and nasty to my friends and I.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOUNGE IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR.
Stay far away
Temu Lord Farquaad (Raul) at the front was beyond rude. I had an email agreement with the GM (Ro) that I would get my table and the rest of the guests would meet me for a few drinks at the bar for my birthday. He told me “it doesn’t work like that” so I proceeded to show him the email from Ro, the GM who was standing next to him. Then he switched his story saying that my friends who showed up were “unpolished.” They were dressed FABULOUSLY and believe me, I’m the first to judge.
What was truly unpolished was the off-brand Farquaad himself—30 minutes late to our table, misspelled my name on the bill, and Ro aggressively tried to ripped the bill out my hands. Fake Farquaad’s greasy hair and cheap suit were a bad look for the place. I expected fun, but instead got a lesson in poor customer service. Would give this place a negative stars if I could!
Always a good time! No other spot like this in flat iron. Dress code is enforced, smart casual.

This is a place where u can get in with jeans as a white girl but not with a dress + sandals as an Asian girl.
Went there at 8:30pm on a Friday. Got turned away at the door by a white male stating no sandals. Mind you I was wearing a dressy maxi dress with full glam, and wearing a pair of platform sandals that matches my outfit.
No where on there website says no sandals. So maybe they should just change it to: hot white girls: wear anything. Women of color: don’t bother.

My recent experience at Seville was incredibly disappointing. I was treated unfairly due to the actions of another customer, and instead of receiving any help or support, I was asked to leave by a staff member named **Rem**.
During my visit, another customer was rude to me, and I expected the staff to handle the situation professionally. However, rather than addressing the rude behavior, Rem chose to single me out and escort me out of the premises, which felt completely unjustified. It was frustrating and humiliating to be treated this way when I did nothing wrong.
Customer service should be about making everyone feel welcome and resolving conflicts fairly. Unfortunately, Seville fell far short of this expectation. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome, and I won’t be returning. I hope they seriously reconsider how they handle situations like this in the future.

THE WORST MANAGER WHO KICKED ME OUT BECAUSE OF VALENTINO’s SNEAKERS!
We came to this lounge and I have no idea why but manager came out on the security station and told me I cannot go because I wore sneakers. My sneakers were designers ones and I didn’t see any dress code signs.
Moreover, when he told me "NO" 3 girls went out from this lounge and they all were wearing white cheap sneakers!!
When I asked A MANAGER why they can wear sneakers and I cannot he just pulled me by his hands and left without any explanations.
Anyway, I’m thankful that this dude didn’t let us go because music was horrible and service too.
We went to a way nicer club with amazing music, great cocktails and amazing service!
This place sucks. Manager was the most unprofessional and impolite that I ever seen.
That was my outfit that night:
