Came here for a casual dinner with friends and left really happy. The vibe is lively and welcoming—great energy without feeling overwhelming, perfect for catching up over drinks and food.
We started with the truffle fries (highly recommend!) and the Sicilian cauliflower, both delicious. For mains, I had the brick chicken—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—and my friend raved about the short rib cavatelli. Portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. Desserts looked tempting but we were too full.
Service was excellent—our server was attentive, friendly, and gave solid recommendations without hovering. The whole team made the experience feel effortless.
Atmosphere is bright and buzzy with that classic brasserie feel—love the big windows and lively crowd.
Only small downside: a couple dishes felt a touch pricey for what they were, but overall very solid for NYC. Would definitely come back, maybe for brunch next time.

I had a quick lunch here today; it was so cute and welcoming. They have a lot of food options, but I went with the tomato soup which was quite flavorful! I would definitely be coming back.

Phenomenal Kale salad
Very good food and service. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Excellent, Virginia oysters and a solid French dips sandwich / fries

Fantastic spot for brunch with a standout atmosphere and top-tier service. While the corn bread in Johnny’s Eggs Benedict didn’t quite hit the mark for me, the overall experience was great. It’s also a solid choice for lunch and cocktails.

We were well taken care of and had the best birthday dinner! I was even given a birthday oyster with a candle!

I have been to the Smith before, yet this experience for me was exactly what I needed. Every single person that was walking past my seat at the bar height table acknowledged me and I felt welcomed and accommodated. Jessica came over to say hello I complemented whomever trains the staff there I would assume it was her. The food was great, the kale salad with salmon was perfect and a large portion. The fingerling potatoes were quite spicy yet enjoyable. One thing I have to say, though for the restaurant itself is that y’all need a lot of plants to fill in the empty space of the restaurant. I feel like everybody’s conversations kind of carryover. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I think you just need to enhance the energy of the restaurant with some beautiful plants. Customer service was on point!

Food was great and they were very accommodating with food allergies. We felt safe eating a delicious meal with our kids with serious food allergies.
