This place is impeccable! Servers are so polite! Atmosphere was beautiful yet chill can have a conversation or meeting without being overwhelmed by noise. Restrooms are so tidy! Food was prepared to perfection and plated beautifully perfect for casual, business, or date night. LOVELY! Cannot wait to go again! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Pros: Service was impeccable. Great location. Easy to find street parking around this location on a Sat evening. Cons: Food wasn't as good as I remembered. The mac & cheese was a bit bland, the steak was cooked properly, but it didn't taste fresh. Chairs were uncomfortable. Bathrooms were a bit messy and out of TP in a couple of stalls.

Amazing experience!The food, especially the ranchero scramble, was top-notch. They kindly served us tap water, both sparkling and still, without us asking. And they even refilled our black coffee for free after we finished.Great for kids too, with a fun menu and games like tic-tac-toe and crossword puzzles. And don't forget to try their pancakes – they're a must!I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting NYC!

Was seriously underwhelmed by dinner tonight. We thought we were starting off strong with some oysters which were fantastic, but when our main course came, they mixed up the order and brought out two pork chops instead of the pork chop and salmon.We ended up eating dinner at different times so my food didn’t get cold and the salmon came out when I was just about finished.If that wasn’t bad enough, the pork had blood in it (luckily I noticed in time to stop eating it).I was also surprised that after the order mixup, there was no effort made by the restaurant to comp at least one of the drinks or the appetizer to apologize. Not only that, but when we got the check, the waitress marked the 20% tip before handing me the machine to pay.I’ve been a fan of The Smith and have gone to multiple locations, but this will probably be the last time I do.

My favorite location & top choice for restaurant, but please work on the plating & quality of the Caesar salad. It came out sloppy with dried up lettuce, not chopped properly and add fresh Parmesan please. For an American establishment to serve up this classic in an undelightful way is surprising. All over fantastic service & menu options.
