The place was nice, staff was friendly, food was very good. However, we specifically asked to not be rushed, we wanted to take our time. We were told that was no problem. The food came out minutes after we ordered it. We were rushed. I'm just tired of always being as a table to turn over for the next.

Late flight in but The Smith was still open at 9pm. Great service and food, lots of 6-tops still here and having fun on a Tuesday. Oysters, steak, and the meatball special were all great.

One of the best burgers in NYC!
The only thing is that it’s a bit too loud sometimes. But love going there to eat!

We were a party of nine. Our waiter Andersen just disappeared on us after drink service. He actually took our order appetizers and entrées. He never came back and we were left with no waiter. We had to call another waiter and he told us he was on break. Our waiter walked away without saying anything to us and left us there. The food was good, but I will never come back here again

The food was really delicious. We had the rigatoni pasta, the burrata, and dessert. There’s nothing more to say about the food than that it was very good and tasty.
However, the service was kind of poor. A manager or owner seated us, and since there were broken glasses on the floor, he kindly moved us to a booth, which was fine. After that, our server came to serve the entrance but never returned to our table. He seemed too busy talking to another table, even though we tried calling him several times to just order our entrance.
To place our order, we had to wait about 15 minutes until the same manager/owner came back to take it. We didn’t see our server again until we asked for the check.
As I said, the food was really good, but the service was disappointing.

I came here for brunch, I am a gluten free/celiac diner and it was the only place on the street who said they could accommodate. It felt safe and someone even came out after I ordered to say one thing wasn’t able to be made and was offered substitutions AND told to make sure my food had a little red flag in it when it came out to signal gluten free.

It had a flag and the Food was delicious, unfortunately was not gluten free as I spent 6 hours of my evening glued to my bathroom floor. So, this post and review is for anyone with gluten sensitivity or celiac.
