Food was great. Something for everyone, and very well executed. Services's good (though an espresso martini was never delivered and had to be deducted from the bill). It was a tad loud, but not unbearable, and the Manhattan energy was good. A tad pricey, but the quality of everything matched the price.
The Smith, and overall, it was a calm and pleasant experience. I'd rate it 8 out of 10. The place has a nice atmosphere, and the service was great — our waitress didn't introduce herself by name, but she was very kind and professional throughout our visit. Warm hospitality from reception to table service. Omar our waiter was friendly and professional. The Smith has been my go-to for enjoying meals with colleagues who may not drink alcohol or eat meat because the menu offers welcoming options for everyone. That alone makes The Smith a rare gem in Midtown East. The seasonal menu keeps things fresh.
