First class oysters and FORST class cooking from the kitchen. Our waiter, whose name I've forgotten ☹️, was on top of everything and as sweet as could be. As the crowds arrived around noon it got very noisy, which is always a problem at The Smith unfortunately. But the food was terrific.
We celebrated my adult son's birthday last night at The Smith at Lincoln Square. The food was great, the service was great, and they even had a candle in his dessert when they brought it out. This is one of my favorite spots for excellent oysters and a good steak.
While the convenience of The Smith is great for a pre-theater dinner for Lincoln Center, the noise inside the restaurant is beyond energetic, especially towards the front of the restaurant. The food is fine, nothing mind-blowing, but the noise is deafening. Beware...
