Delicious Smith Burger, cooked to perfection, fries were perfect as well, and the Bloody Mary was delicious - had 2
Love to come back to The Smith. Always good food and fun atmosphere. The grilled branzino with scallion fried rice, pineapple, cashews, green papaya and coconut curry had great Thai flavors. We also enjoyed the filet mignon with blue cheese and a side of fingerling potatoes. The sticky toffee pudding, which we've had before, was terrific.
Good food, lots of great choices. A reliable dining experience. Love the sourdough bread, too.
Although the service was outstanding, the food and drinks were just okay. The server and hostess were exceptional but food underwhelming.
Food was served not hot. When we sent it back we waited 15 minutes to get it back and only one of our entrees was hot the other was the same.
I remember going to The Smith 15-20 years ago on a regular basis. Unfortunately, it has gone down since then. This was my staple restaurant in the neighborhood and it's sad that it is no longer what it once was. I have been a few times and it never seems like hit like it used to. I hope they are able to pick it up again because it's a great option!
We booked an early table on a Sat evening to grab drinks and apps. The food was excellent, as always, and the service was, too. We stayed close to 3 hrs and the restaurant was full and they never rushed us or asked for the table back. It was very much appreciated. The Smith is always a trusted great dinner out.
Tasty food. Prompt, friendly service. Very nice lunch before a matinee at Classic Stage Company.
Overall it was lovely. Service was great and we had a wonderful waiter. The food was delicious and everything was tasty. Sadly we were placed in an awkward spot so we kept having to move our chairs to make room for wheelchairs, scooters and other wheeled carts because there was not enough room in the isles. Not everyone was nice to us about that which is a-shame. We didn't pick our table location and there were plenty of other seats we could have been sat in but people kept hitting us or making us move so they could get through...alas. We love the smith that was just a bummer experience.
I ordered a manhattan, a kale quinoa salad and the ribs (Saturday only). All were fantastic. I love that in this day when so many restaurants are nickel and diming their customers, the Smith still provides bread (delicious) and sparkling water for no extra charge.

Everything was wonderful except that it was so loud we could barely hear the people sitting at our table. Food was excellent though.
We had an amazing brunch at the Smith. The donuts are a must. They are delicious! My egg omelette was excellent. The pancakes, chips and dip, avocado toast.... all delicious. Great service and we were seated promptly.
Love the smith, love this location. The employees are just wonderful. JJ is amazing! Made my day today.

I am glad we made a reservation. Otherwise, we would have to wait for a table. The place gets busy for weekend brunches.
