Our (incredible) waitress just told us we are the first ones to try their waffles and we felt it our solemn duty to come tell all of you THEY ARE EFFING INCREDIBLE!!!! What an amazing brunch - chef’s kiss!

The bartender went out of his way to kick our friend out “by mistake” and did not even had the guts to apologize. My friend was obviously drunk and to any person with a common sense it’d take 5 secs to asses this. It’s a nineteenth century xenophobic behavior I have never seen in a place in nyc. Sad to see this happen as we had a whole group sitting in a booth and they kicked us all, you could tell the security team was ashamed . Sad interaction. Will never go back.

Not a safe environment to be in at all. There was a guy going around asking if I wanted roofies for my friends. I told one security guard and he tried to pass it off to a different security guard who didn't do anything, I pointed the guy out and then they didn't even take him out of the bar, they decided to start a problem with us instead... One of the security guards smelled like freshly smoked marijuana and acted like it as well. The bartender threw a coaster at my friend because he just came over to put his drink down on the table, missed and hit my other friend in the head. Don't waste your time or money here in this sketchy place.

Do not waste your time or money here. My friend was offered roofies and to roofie other people when she purchased drinks at the bar by another customer. She told security which male it was they did nothing about it. Then my friend got a beer and went to set it down at the table and pay and they threw a coaster at my head and said that he was trying to “run off with the beer and not pay.” We left and we will never return.

DJ is the best bartender I’ve met! So kind and caring for customers, truly knows his craft and is so customer focused!

This place was cute ! Front door ID guy and host did not communicate well. I wanted to add my name to the host stand and the bouncer said it’s just a bar you don’t need to add your name. Was very confusing since there was a host and I could add my name to a list to sit down for dinner. Yes it’s not just a bar they do serve food! Cocktails were great! Service was ehh.

Super fun spot with friendly staff. Excellent martinis. The food was pretty good but not the best bar bites I’ve ever had.

I went to the Spaniard on Thursday on 3/20 at around 6:30pm and asked if I could get a table for two. I was told that there was about a 30 minute wait. I then requested to be added to the waiting list. I waited over an hour and a half as I watched other parties that walked in after me be seated. When I approached the hostess to inquire about wait time I was essentially told I couldn’t be seated and to find a seat at the bar with being given a clear treason why. Horrible experience.

It was ok. Did not like being kicked out immediately after we paid the bill. We were leaving anyway - the rude push was quite unnecessary.

Drinks were overpriced. Food was ok. The place is popular - not sure why.
