This is a horrible place . I was there end of June 26 and they had 2 girls singing this song . One of them was a crazy girl clearly on methamphetamine, only there because she’s rich apparently .
Nice place to stay if you live in brooklyn and you don’t want to commute home want to stay overnight to escape Puerto Rico day parade in Bushwick
This hotel is beautiful, service is very good. I had an issue with a credit card authorization and I wanna send a shout out to the manager, Steven. He was awesome and swift with assisting me, super friendly and all around incredible customer service. Thank you!
The rooms are bit worn down but otherwise the stay was terrific. Room Service was quick! Front Desk staff were wonderful. Overall a great stay.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Air conditioning was broken both days, even though they said it was fixed the first afternoon. Room was an oven as a result, and even more ridiculous was that the hallway was freezing so we contemplated sleeping right outside our door on the floor. Guest services never answers the phone, just interminable hold. What a disappoint, this is a dump without the most basic of functioning air conditioning. It’s a shame I have to leave one star, as they deserve none. Stay away.
Excellent property, 5/5.
Nice views from the roof top
Great!!! We did a Sunday and Monday… and would be nice to have had access to 18th floor!
Walkability: Chelsea Market phenomenal

This gets three stars for its location. We stayed there this weekend and the rooms were extremely stuffy. I believe they need to change the carpet in the rooms. Although this hotel is iconic it is time for a makeover. It almost does not feel clean, very humid and hot in the rooms.

Whenever I come to New York and stay somewhere else to change things up, to explore other options, I end up asking myself why I didn’t just go with the Standard. Always clean, beautiful, convenient, near the subway and everything else. Floor to ceiling windows give you unbeatable views and in comparison with all other city hotels the noise isolation is excellent.

Highly recommend The Standard, which is a very trendy hotel in a super cool and convenient location.
The rooms could perhaps do with being refurbished at some point, but they are clean and the bed is comfy.
Room cleaned every day to a high standard (no pun intended!).
The highlight for me has to be the panoramic views of The Hudson, which was a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning.

Listen, I am only knocking off one star because there are some technological issues that the Standard needs to adjust to come up to standard, such as more USB plugs in the rooms, as well as an alarm clock, better Wi-fi connection and electrical outlets that actually hold the plug while in use.
All that aside, the guest experience here is unmatched from start to finish. I even left behind my child's iPad accidentally and Tyrell, the shipping manager, is absolutely amazing. Please give that man a raise and/or all of the money he needs to be satisfied in life because he has kept in contact with me like no other and has been such a pleasure to work with and speak to. I wish him all the best in his career and in life and hope to encounter more genuine and positive human beings like him.
The staff at the front desk was also cordial and kind upon arrival and everyone that we ran into in the housing department was just as pleasant.
We did stay with our daughter, but I would definitely strongly hold to the statement that The Standard is leaning heavily toward the "grown & sexy" vibe. So perfect for a couple's trip.
I did not personally try their room service menu, but they do offer a variety of food from wagyu steak, to chicken wings, to salmon on your Caesar salad and even a good pickle.
Great location on the Hudson River. Walk across to Little island. It’s one block from the southern end of the High Line.
Nearby activities: Little Island, Chelsea Market, High line park.
