Our dining experience at the Stinger was excellent, the food well prepared, service was smooth and we enjoyed a very nice evening. However, overall, this experience could have been better. When my guest arrived to the restaurant before me, he was told there was no reservation under my name. Fortunately, there was another table available. However, much planning had gone into this reservation, including working with the hotel and restaurant manager & open table for a specific table to enjoy the less crowded portion of the restaurant, It was disappointing that open table & Stinger were unable to fulfill that request. This is no reflection on the server or the food/beverage/menu. Unfortunate lack of communication.

Delicious food, excellent service! Great place for pre or post theater drinks/bites. Highly recommended!

Interesting drink menu & they actually bring nuts with the drinks! The food selections are varied but not numerous. We enjoyed the lettuce wraps with a nice shrimp filling and the mushroom panini. If you're in the area and looking for a bite before the show, I recommend the mezze platter. It will do fine for 2 as a before the show snack.

I brought my mom here before we saw Smash on Broadway & we LOVED IT! Fabulous cocktails, incredible service, & lovely food. Will be returning just for the sweet potato fries, they were a little too good. It was the perfect experience & I certainly recommend dining here!

Great location for the theatre. Excellent bar and nice menu variety. Told the waiter we only had an hour and he made sure we made it out in time for our show.

This place is located as part of the intercontinental hotel but it had a nice vibe. It is sort of the hotel's bar and restaurant. Glass of wine with a generous pour. And some nice food selections.

Excellent, excellent service. Drinks are pricey but fantastic. App variety is great and everything was delicious. Perfect for a pre-event treat!

Excellent for pre theatre. Portions to share were large but not overpriced and the wine pour was generous. Service was really good and friendly.

Ordered the steak and had to send it back as it tasted very strange like a mold flavor. I wasn't comped for the meal. I reordered the salmon which was fantastic, however, I should not have been charged for the inedible steak dish.

Their so called breakfast “buffet” is one step above a continental breakfast. Very little variety including premade scrambled eggs, bacon burnt to a crisp and some other items. In my four day trip I was sick of the food after the 2nd day. No way to order off the menu either so forced to eat the disappointing buffet.

This is for breakfast specifically.

We ate here because we get a breakfast credit through AMEX. We waited a few minutes for a table, no problem there. We’re handed a menu and left to sit there. Many people waiting behind us were sat down, explained they can serve themselves at the buffet, offered coffee and water. We just sat and sat and sat. I asked the hostess a question about the menu, she didn’t know the answer, said she’d find out for us and never saw her again. My wife had to walk to a server to get coffee and later on we had to flag someone down to get water, which was met with a dirty look from the staff.

The food was good overall, so big props to the kitchen staff. The bill, for a “continental” buffet came with an 18% tip and was nearly 100 dollars.

If your Amex gives you this benefit, just walk away and go get some actual good breakfast in NYC.

Dinner was good and the server there was awesome.
