Jazzul was so kind and sweet!
My wife and I visited here while on Vacation, as a newly out trans person who has lived most her life in Florida, I was not ready for how much an affirming place such as this would mean to me, coupled with the fact that pride very literally started here, it gave me what I needed to embrace myself, and to try and better things for my queer and trans comrades in Florida, we also had a lovely conversation with the owner who gave us a tour, and bought us each a beer (the Stonewall IPA is amazing! Wish I could get some in FL), we also ordered a cocktail each from the bar, the bartender was quite knowledgeable, and encouraging. A must see for anyone passing through, and all the more important for queer folk, thank you again for the unforgettable experience while we were up there <3

Historic bar in NYC. The Expresso martinis are terrible. Friendly service.

A historic must see and so unassuming. Just had drinks - reasonably priced for NYC and area.

Mega disappointment. This on our list of places to visit and it was very unwelcoming and did not have the historic vibes I was expecting.

Historical bar, still lively in the early hours. Kind of strong drinks, fun vibes and a very socially welcoming space. Neat decor and artwork inside, definitely worth a visit.

My friends and I were really excited to go here. When we arrived, we were greeted with pretty abysmal service. The bartender (a woman with short white-blonde hair) was incredibly rude for no reason. We were trying to be amicable even after she was clearly mad at us, but she continued to be incredibly rude even after around 3 rounds of drinks. The place was not busy and we were working hard to be considerate, especially when we felt like we had somehow wronged her. Was hoping for a much better experience. It was a shame.

The place is interactive, but I felt very lonely. Normally, you have to go to this place in a group or with your friends, but I had several beers alone there.
