The place was good. Ended up sharing a platter with two friends and it was more than enough to go around. The tacos were good. For the area, the price was reasonable. Service was quick and we didn’t feel hurried.

unpleasant atmosphere attended by some loud Venezuelans, and the waitress commented to her colleague that there was terrible mouse poop!! I did not enjoy it at all!! Oh, by the way, I ate inside the place. Outside it looked nicer because there was no bar music and the waiters' screams.

The best taco shop in the entire West Village, maybe even best in southern Manhattan. Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere and service.
Hands down the best steak tacos I have had in any borough. Every time I have eaten here it has been an absolute delight. They even have a $20 happy hour special: Three tacos and a drink and it's well worth the price!
Angel works Monday through Thursday and makes the best Mango Margarita (frozen and straight) I have ever tasted. A hidden gem of the West Village that deserves way more credit than it's given.

TACO SHOP IS BACK! We absolutely loved taco shop before the pandemic, and I’m happy to report that the beloved gem is every bit as good as it was back then!My boyfriend and I split the small platter, and we ordered barbacoa, steak, fish, and cochinita pibil tacos. All were fantastic, as were the pork tamales, guac, slaw, and cucumber salad. We also got two margaritas which were delicious. Our service was excellent and the vibe was perfect.Can’t wait to come back!
Taco shop is back! We were pretty sad when it closed, but walked by randomly to find it had reopened. After dining again, we can say the food is still delicious and we will be coming back! We hope you’ll try it too. Cheers!
