Dishwasher smell anywhere in the front area. Female bartender couldn’t care what we were ordering. She was randomly chucking empty wine bottles into the garbage can right beside me, scaring the creep out of

It’s definitely a dive but the food and drinks are great. They need more Spanish wines by the glass though! Where’s my Albariño?

Watch out for the check as several people at our table, with separate tabs, got a surprise item they didn’t order; and then got the waiter making faces when he was refunding less than the right amount, then an attitude when his scheme was called out. In a city where high prices usually come with high quality service, you have to admire the audacity of this place only delivering on the first part.

This is a great place to grab some oysters, appetizers and drinks. The atmosphere is great and the staff were very nice. I would recommend this to anyone in the area.

I went with a big group and we sat at the benches in the back. It was super bustling and had great energy. The benches are technically great for groups, but honestly don't allow for super intimate conversation. Its still super fun nevertheless, and the wine list is EXTENSIVE. I enjoyed each glass I got, and I had a great time with all of my friends who were there with us. Great for a fun and lively start to your night, and also great as a destination!

The waiter spilled half of our Lambrusco on the floor and the other half on my vintage leather jacket - the waiter said this would be comped but upon receiving our check we were charged for half the bottle. The two waiters were extremely rude and condescending, and leather experts all of a sudden. This experience ruined my jacket and my night :/

This is a great dollar oyster spot! It's so hard to find them in the city these days, but this place really has them for just $1 during happy hour. To pair, they have a $20 carafe of white or red wine. I would recommend getting there early because the place is small and fills up pretty quickly. It's a cute date spot and it feels very intimate with the close tables and candle lit atmosphere. The oysters come just stacked on a plate, which was a little strange, but it worked with the smaller tables. They don't give you the variety of sauces that usually come with oysters. Instead, they just give a simple vinegrette. The oysters were on the smaller side, but I enjoyed the taste. The service was also pretty attentive, and we were able to easily order a few rounds of oysters and wine without having to actively flag the servers down. The prices after happy hour do get pretty pricey. We got the charcuterie board, which came with 3 meats and 3 cheeses for $32. The portion size was pretty small for that small. There was maybe 2 or 3 bites of each, and it didn't come with many of the garnishes and extras that usually accompany boards like that. Overall though, I really enjoyed Ten Bells and can't wait to come back. Their happy hour lasted a good amount of time (until 7 pm) so you're really able to enjoy the oysters instead of feeling rushed.

Great oyster happy hour spot! Lots of great little tapas and wine. Dark and candlelit inside, more for an intimate dining mood.

Dark, cozy, unpretentious wine bar with an outstanding drinks list, including natural wines. Food looked good but we didn't have anything to review. Server was knowledgeable and fast without being pushy. Great experience for a drop-in, love to go back on a busy night some time.
