Went with colleagues after work for happy hour. Maria, I think she’s a manager, was super nice and accommodating. The entire staff was great actually. Would def go back.

Me and my family recently had the pleasure of dining at The Tuck Room, and I must say, it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the inviting atmosphere—a perfect blend of chic and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a night out.

The food was outstanding. The shrimp spring rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, while the seared scallops were bursting with flavor. Pairing these with one of their signature cocktails (highly recommend the Norma Jeane) made for an unforgettable meal.

What truly made our visit exceptional, though, was our waitress, Aubey. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations tailored to our tastes. Despite the restaurant being busy, she made sure we were well taken care of, checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. Her warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm elevated the entire dining experience.

If you’re looking for a spot with great food, creative drinks, and top-notch service, The Tuck Room is a must-visit! And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Aubey, you’re in for a treat. We’ll definitely be coming back!

There must be a new manager there he is racist and lack professionalism. I was there today around 430pm. Everything was fine until the manager tuned the lights darker making it difficult to see. I have been to the lounge numerous times and it was never that dark. He began to speak to my coworkers and I in a condescending tone and stated this is the ambience that we have, yall people just have to deal with it when i ask can he turn the lights to how they were. We took that as a racist statement coming from a black feminine man. There was no other customers in the lounge at that time, it was just us. We sat there for an hour eating our and then he decides to darken the lights. He needs customer service training and cultural acceptance training.

Went after work to have an early dinner and drinks. The food was not good and the service sucks. The manager customer service was horrible. If you looking for a place to eat by the seaport, do not I mean do not go to the tuck room. Not worth the money. Zero stars for me. Run away.

I went there before watching a movie at IPIC and ordered Nachos. It was delicious but it seemed like they need more people. Everyone was so busy and kept having problem with orders and food took pretty long to come out. They were friendly and nice to us and they were aware that it was their problem so they didn’t charge our drinks. They have a great room with cool atmosphere, just need more people I guess. It is still a fun place to sip some drinks and hang out with friends especially happy hour has great deals!

Good atmosphere, not too crowded. I had a cocktail and the chicken shawarma. Both were really good.

We selected this location for a bday lunch after the original restaurant did not offer a more comprehensive menu. Everything started off well until the mom of the bday girl asked if there was a cake cutting fee. We were told yes (which was fine) but that it was also a “law” that the restaurant kitchen must cut the cake as well. We questioned the validity of this and our waiter (Amro per receipt) was adamant it was a law. He tried to take the cake for the kitchen to cut before we even received our food, which took almost an hour to arrive. The majority at the table received cold food. The bday girl couldnt even eat her food at all. When it was finally time for the cake, what was returned to the table was a butchered mess. They cut jaggedly all through the cake and completely messed it up. Then he provided us a knife to cut the cake in smaller pieces, but I thought we weren’t allowed to cut ourselves😳 We called for the manager (Cash). Cash said he had never heard of such a law and offered to provide a free drink to all the adults. Half were not staying for the movie so he said he would bring drinks to the table for those leaving and for us going downstairs for the movie he’d send our drinks. We later found that Cash went back on his word for the free drinks for us in the movie. A second waiter assisted us at the table before we went to the movie by also confirming he didnt understand why the other waiter did what he did and had the cake butchered. He asked us for our drink orders and then walked us to our seats, where he said he’d have the drinks delivered. 30 minutes into the movie we heard back that Cash said we took too long to take the offer so it was rescinded. Just wow. On top of that, there were check issues with the original waiter who kept making his own guesses on how the checks should be split without any input from the group. Disappointing experience. And disappointing non-resolution from Cash.

My husband and I came here a few years ago and had a great experience. Came back this evening and the place was empty. They sat us and handed us menus and after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to take our order we just left. It was easily 5 to 1 ratio employees to customers and no less than ten servers walked past our table, completely ignoring us. The bartender looked right at us, and then looked away. Sad because the menu looks amazing, but the service is absolutely terrible. I can understand why it was dead on a Saturday.

My family and I dined at The Tuck Room in celebration of my daughters birthday, prior to our movie downstairs at IPic. In addition to a extended wait for drinks and food, the server informed me that I was not allowed to cut the cake that we had brought in for the birthday. I told him that I didn’t mind paying the cake cutting fee but I preferred to cut the cake myself. He said it was against the law to allow me to cut the cake myself and the cake must be brought into the kitchen for them to cut it. I’ve never heard this law and have yet to find this law documented anywhere, despite my time in law school. Nevertheless, the sever then proceeded to bring me back a completely butchered cake.
He clearly did not know how to cut a cake and it wasn’t cut at all in a way appropriate for consumption. He said it was up to us to cut the cake into pieces that we can eat. So if we still had to cut it, why do we have to pay a cake cutting fee and I thought having me cut it was illegal?! Why he had to cut the entirety of my cake into gigantic pieces for 9 guest I’m still trying to figure out. The manager, Cash, then offered us drinks for our troubles, which he later recinded the offer because we didn’t accept it quick enough. Absimal hospitality.

Cool looking place, comfortable seating. Food was great. Staff looked young and annoyed to have customers and service was slow. It was not a busy night.
