I will not talk here about the hotel itself but about their commercial practice. I reserved a room via booking on 01/17 for a stay planned for April with free cancellation. Unlike the other hotels I booked, this one collected the amount of the reservation within 48 hours. I then had to change my plans and cancel this reservation 1 week after making the reservation. After 5 emails to 2 different departments which offer apologies, I am still waiting for my refund. It has now been 2 months of waiting and I still have not been reimbursed. So 1 piece of advice, if you book, don't cancel.

We had doubts when reading some reviews of the hotel, but the truth is that it has met all our expectations.The only thing that did not seem good to us was that the Wifi does not work in the rooms, but it did not affect us since we had unlimited mobile data.The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The television worked. It has heating that is managed from the room itself.The location is excellent, a 3-minute walk from Grand Central and 5 Ave.The attention received has been good. We requested gel, shampoo and a kettle, and they immediately brought it to the room.It won't be the most luxurious hotel ever, but it is clean, comfortable, and the price is good for the area in which it is located.

There was no WiFi and hadn’t been for a week. There was no tv - also had been out for a week. There was tape and muck all over the walls of our suite and all the furniture was ripped up or broken down. Used to love this place but it’s really miserable now. We weren’t even offered a discount due to not being told about the WiFi before hand. Terrible stay all around.

This hotel clearly had some money spent on it in the past...but now it is a lumbering hulk headed over the cliff.No internet, phone and TV for over three weeks and counting.Towel holders, toilet paper holder and toilet flush handle falling off. Almost anything attached to a wall is loose.The glass shower door hits hard against the glass wall when closing. Clearly a hazard!!Wall thermostat does not control heater...heck it's not even hooked up (as admitted by engineering staff).Wall lamps missing and clearly pulled from wall. Light switches don't properly control lights.One of the elevators bangs against things when going up and down.I'm sorry...but this hotel is a mess. DO NOT BOOK IT!!!

Incredible value given the convenient location and prices of nearby accommodations! We reserved a Loft Suite which was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. Perfect for a romantic getaway! Will definitely be staying here during future visits.Rooms: Chip in a little extra for the Loft Suite. Very spacious!

WiFi and cable don’t work, wasn’t offered any kind of discount for the inconvenience. They give you conditioner but no shampoo….?Bed was comfy & the lady at the desk during the day is very nice, but I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Visited for a long weekend. Chose this hotel due to the location and advertised amenities. Was disappointed to arrive and be told there is no tv, wifi or phone service. Service was out the entire stay. No coffee maker in the room or refrigerator to put your personal stuff in. No plastic cups, soap, wash cloths. The towels very cheap "Walmart towels". Room was clean but that's about it. Received no offer for partial refund and no apologies for the lack of services. Will not stay here again.

Only book this hotel if you are sure you are not going to cancel it, we have been waiting for my money for 4 weeks now after our cancellation of the Tuscany hotel. We are certainly not the only ones because you can read in reviews that the LuxUrban hotels require a very long wait for your money.
