Bar tenders are impolite and do not pay attention to customers at the bar.

Bustling spot for pretty looking Southeast Asian food. It's a cool looking space and the staff is very nice. Our waitress was very bubbly and friendly. The food seemed to be more on the sweet side than it should be to me. The fried Chicken was probably one of the stands outs. She highly recommended the duck which unfortunately was simultaneously not crispy and overcooked. The portion was generous. We also had the crab fried rice that she recommended. It looks amazing when it hits the table. The crab was very mixed into the fried rice so it almost disappeared flavor-wise.The Banh Xeo what's kind of overloaded so it was soggy. The pad see ew with the fried tofu is very striking looking. The tofu is fried but very white. It tastes white as in it has no taste. Are resident vegetarian said it would be better if it had a sauce on it. The noodle part of the dish was fine.I think it's weird that they have several vegetarian dishes that all have the same protein of oyster mushrooms. It would have been nice for them to be a bit more creative for vegans and vegetarians. That said there's a lot of vegetable dishes on the menu that can be modified. It's very noisy once it gets busy.

I'm just in shock with this place. We went without reservation and they told us we could wait approx 1 hour but at the end, we decided to wait and they gave us a table in 10 minutes. The staff was super nice, very attentive, and the food was Jesus Christ, with a lot of flavor, really delicious, we only ordered 2 dishes because we weren't super hungry, but the dessert and all of them 10/10. I'm really excited to be back and try the others. (:

Great service and delicious food! Especially the squid ink rice and calamari. Will return anytime.
The Tyger, on the edge of SoHo and Chinatown and sister reataraunt to swanky Chinese Tuxedo, is a southeast Asian restaurant showcasing Asian flavors in an airy, open space. For dinner we started with the Phnom Penh Fried Chick with lime and white pepper dressing and 'morning glory' stir fried water spinach. For noodles and rice we had the fiery Singaporean chili crab fried rice, pad see ew' rice noodles with incredibly soft-on-the-inside crispy on-the-outside tofu, and delicious, umami-forward house made noodles with oyster mushrooms, katsuobushi and lemon. For meat we had the beef short rib swimming in a red curry and soaked up the delicious sauce with jasmine rice and house-made potato rolls. We finished off with a crème brûlée tart (which can also be found at Chinese Tuxedo) which reminded us of a mixture of flan and crème brûlée. We really enjoyed this meal for the variety of textures and flavors represented in this menu and can't wait to dine here again
I had a great experience at The Tyger. The food and staff were excellent. I had the Moo Ping Skewers, fried chicken and crab fried rice - can't wait to come back to try more

Excellent pan Asian cuisine. I found the crowd very eclectic- a very LES vibe which was a nice change. I'm excited to try the sister restaurant Chinese tuxedo

Favorite restaurant in nyc. Get the fried chicken app, crispy snapper, branzino, crab fried rice. You can’t go wrong—everything’s phenomenal

The food here is absolutely fantastic. The stand out dishes were the lamb ribs, steak tartar, beef skewers, banh xeo, kabocha masala, and house made noodles. We also really enjoyed the crab rice, fried chicken and morning glory spinach. I know many people recommend the coconut bomb, but we found it underwhelming. The flan tart was exceptional! I would go back just to eat that dish. All the cocktails were great. It is pretty loud so it can be hard to hear, but the general vibe is great and all the staff were friendly.
