Otherwise, expect a lengthy waitlist, especially during busy weekend evenings. The dim lighting creates an intimate speakeasy lounge atmosphere.

The establishment definitely needs to elevate its customer service. Perhaps it was because we visited on a Wednesday and they were short-staffed for a weekday, but the service left much to be desired. We waited quite a while without anyone attending to us, leaving us uncertain if it was meant to be self-service. When we were finally assisted, the drinks took an unexpectedly long time to arrive. That said, it’s a charming spot with an impressive drink menu—a rare classy gem on MacDougal Street, I’d say.

Back in the 1960’s Bob Dylan played here before being famous. This is a very hard bar to book reservations. So plan accordingly. Drinks are spectacular and specialized. Price are on the higher side but worth it.
I throughly enjoyed the interior of this place! We sat at the bar, which was beautiful still, but I do wish we reserved the seats instead. It is a bit small in here so noise does travel, but once you’ve drunk a bit you don’t mind anyway. The bathroom was also very clean which I didn’t expect. I am more of a fruity enjoyer and so I loved the Thirsty Ghost. It tasted like soap. But in a good way. And the more i drank it tasted like a fruity tea. The bartenders were attentive do filling your waters and asking you if you wanted another drink. All in all, very good experience. The ice also has their logo in it which I love!
