Nice cozy dark place. The entrance to the restaurant was..interesting and the atmosphere is pretty dark. The food was great. We had the breakfast platter and the bacon tasted like pork belly. The pancake has more of a cake taste and was thick and airy. It was certainly a unique unexpected blend of flavors but good.

The Brussel sprouts were soggy and the steak was over done (I asked for a medium) - I sampled 3 different red wines on the menu and they all tasted old, like the bottles had been open for days. I ended up opting for a spicy marg which was good. Not worth returning.

I love this place!! I always introduce my friends who haven’t been to this place. It is one of my staple go to’s!
This is one of those special brunch spots in Washington Heights we absolutely love. Our team, along with some of my friends and I, have gone here so many times, and we're always so obsessed with the food that I forgot pictures. They always have amazing pizza. Today my friend I went for brunch and it was everything. I think they make the nest pancakes in NYC. If you come here and don't try the pancake, you're missing out. It's delicious. Buttery, crunchy on the outside but soft in the inside. Everyone loves it here. The lentil soup with a side of sourdough bread was perfect, hearty, and fulfilling. The kale salad is my favorite salad. It's delicious. My friend loved her avocado toast with eggs on top. They also made the best cappuccino and Chai lattes. This is a must if you're in the heights from brunch.

We were seated at a sticky/ wet table. Stood holding my toddler for 5minutes before they finally got us a high chair. Server didn’t show up till I finally flagged him. The fries looked and tasted like they were just de thawed. Nothing fresh about it. Avocado on sour dough was a tiny half portion( not even half an avocado) bland & not fresh bread as I had expected for $11. Yogurt parfait was a weird mix of sour cherries w some weird tasting yogurt. Just tasted off. Chai latte left more to be desired. Thought this would be a tad more upscale for the price. If you can’t get fries and avo toast right.. I’d rather spend $50 elsewhere

Perfect local spot for laptop work paired with excellent drinks. The seasonal "I Love You a Latte" (strawberry mocha) shown here is divine. Not too sweet! Just enough strawberry ? to make it a special treat. Love Garrison!
Everything here was perfect!
