A New Harlem Gem

The Victoria brings a refreshing vibe to Harlem, and it’s already feeling like a must-visit staple. Our experience was enhanced by the incredible service from our waiter, Zach, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. He communicated the kitchen delays clearly and truly elevated our evening with his attentiveness.

The Cajun-inspired menu is both adventurous and comforting, and the intricate cocktails are a perfect match, with unique flavors that surprised and impressed us. Adding to the ambiance was a live jazz band that blended classic and modern R&B—giving the whole space a lively, upscale feel.

If I could suggest one tweak, it would be to separate the lounge from the dining area to allow for a bit more focus on the dining experience itself. All in all, The Victoria is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy great food, music, and Harlem energy.

A visit to this establishment is a must, particularly when Angel is working behind the bar! He's more than a talented bartneder... hes a very considerate conversationalist and makes sure you are well taken care of. He makes amazingly tasting cocktails; he puts love and a lot of thoughtfulness into his craft. His unique cocktails are none to be missed. The food here is very tasty, the ambiance and music are a peice of Harlem heaven. A must!

What made the experience unforgettable was the bartender ANGEL who served up some off menu drinks that were exceptional! I hope they look to include this in the regular menu one day!
Best drinks and bar experience ever with Angel! Will be back very soon!

The place is gorgeous and it is a really fun restaurant. However, we had a less than ideal experience. We had a 2:30 pm reservation for a large birthday party. After 45 min we were still not seated and just waiting. Turns out two people were just sitting at our large table
Waiting. We had to ask the manager to move them and we didn’t get seated until 3:30 pm. Then after we got seated everything took forever and we ended up being there for 4 hours! We waited so long they had run out of biscuits and the food took another hour and did not arrive until 4:30 pm. I won’t be back even though the food was good.

The Victoria is one of my favorite places to visit when Im in Harlem! From the dark granite aura to the gold accents throughout, the atmosphere buzzes with sophistication and soul. Giving homage to many jazz greats such as Louis Armstong and (my personal favorite) Ella Fitzgerald, the artwork throughout makes you feel as if the artists are about to grace the stage. There are high and low tables, sections and private areas for parties and celebrations. There is often a dj spinning on weekends as well. Always a vibe! Make sure you check out their hand-crafted cocktail menu, too :)

catfish wednesday was OUTSTANDING. calamari was terrible. so chewy. SO. chewy. not a great flavor on the fry. sweet potato creme brulee was. a letdown. super preassembled. what’s good about a creme brulee? it’s sweet it’s creamy it’s one delicious texture broken up by the torched sugar and maybe a piece of fruit or two. instead u get a dead cold serving of mashed sweet potato with chunks. and a sugary top but ?? so what. it was legit just mashed sweet potato…… for $14…… take off the burnt sugar on top and it’s a side dish that should cost half …….

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend. The hotel was beautiful! But I came to the reviews for the CATFISH. Listen I’m not sure how they prepare it but it was easily in the top 3 that I’ve ever had ? the Cajun pasta was 10/10 as well. The ambulance and live entertainment was one for the books. Will be back!
