The calamari & fish and chips are absolutely amazing! These are fried just right and not greasy. The breading is thin and crispy. I had the burger 2 times, both times I found them extremely delicious and done exactly what I asked for (medium rare) Price of prosecco is reasonable. Service is great. Most of all, the back patio space is a rarity in the middle of Manhattan. The location is easy to meet friends, and it’s such a treat to sit at the back patio and get away from the midtown insanity. Will return soon for sure!

Food was decent-ish rather frustrating when you can't even get onion added to a salad. Ver Service was very slow, half the food was hot half was sitting there ready waiting for the other food to finish I'm sure. Asked for a side of ranch for something when we ordered never got it. Stayed at the hotel so it was the only reason I went. Wouldnt recommend it. Very rude server. Waited at the front door for atleast 5 minutes with no greeting. Server checked his phone when I tried to order Togo food, just a salad no meat add onions. Mind you it was 9:38pm and the restaurant says it is open until 10:30pm. Made a big deal about things coming they way they don't I said nevermind and cashed out. Much better places is NYC to go.

Says the pub closes at 2am, but don’t be fooled. They’ll rush you out at 11pm. I had a drink and someone TWICE tried to grab my drink when I wasn’t done with it and rush us out. When we asked for the manager, he got aggressive immediately and escalated the situation. We were walking out and one of the bartenders put his hands on my fiancé as we were walking out. Moral of the story is don’t bother coming here, they don’t want your business and will get aggressive if you try to have a conversation.

Been here 10 times and never had a bartender that was anything but disinterested. It’s too bad because it’s a nice pub. They do have excellent cheesecake though. It is from a well-known cheesecake bakery in Queens and well worth getting.. Good Guinness, beer, etc. But whiskeys are grossly overpriced.

We hosted our Camp Merrimac Reunion at The Wheeltapper Pub & Patio and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was perfect — we were given our own section of the beautiful outdoor patio on a gorgeous summer night, and it truly made the evening unforgettable.
A huge shoutout to Sybil and the entire team — their service was outstanding. They were warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating of our large group. Everything ran smoothly thanks to their attention to detail and hospitality.
We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to reconnect and celebrate. Highly recommend The Wheeltapper for any gathering or event — we’ll be back! 💙🌟

Just hosted a work happy hour and was able to get a space outside in the back-Sybil was able to assist our group and her and her team were AMAZING!!! Food was great and the drinks didn’t stop—they made sure everyone was taken care of. Was a great experience.
