At first, this place seems cool and airy. But you quickly realize why there are so few customers even on a busy Saturday afternoon. The food is plain and flavorless. The service is intrusive—waiters interrupted me mid-conversation with constant “are you doing ok?” checks. The music was so loud I could barely hear my friend. Background music is supposed to stay in the background. When I asked the owner to turn it down, he replied, “I prefer the music this way. I don’t turn down the volume. Sorry.” That response made me feel completely ignored.

Truthfully I stopped here because I went to a Wooli concert and loved that they had the same name 😂 but I’m so glad I did because the vibes and music are incredible 🍺

Very nice spot to sit and people watch on a busy street.
We ordered two cocktails and the local cheese plate. The cheese plate included four pieces of toasted bread, three small chunks of cheese -- one brie(?) and two others, a type of jam, and about five grapes, it was all a bit sparce for $20, but hey, it was local.
We weren't given any silverware/cheese knife, or napkins and had to ask... and it definitely would have been nice to get a run down of what was featured on the plate or where it came from.
Nonetheless, it was nice to have something to nibble on with our drinks, which were very delicious, while taking a break from walking.
The person next to us was eating a burger that looked suuuuper yummy, might have to try that next time.

Because we were extremely hungry, we randomly picked a restaurant along the street. We ordered three dishes—and every single one was awful. The burger was the worst I’ve ever had—worse than even McDonald’s. In another dish, the chicken unexpectedly had a bit of egg mixed in; it kind of resembled American-style Chinese fried rice, but it was absolutely terrible. The service was bad, but that would’ve been forgivable—however, the food was also awful. I just couldn’t stand it. This was the first time I ever left a negative review on Google Maps. The food was really that bad.

The food is actually veryyyy good. We got 6-7 small plates ($16 per plate) to share between four of us and it was more than enough food. Everything was great, but my favorites were the shrimp, meatless meatballs, squash rings, and burrata + tomatoes. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the Caesar salad - the lettuce was just really bitter. Good service and open late. Great for a small group or date.

I was at The Wooly on Friday evening because I had been there a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. However, this time it was anything but pleasant. We came for drinks. Our server, who had shoulder-length blonde hair, was incredibly unfriendly and made us feel absolutely unwelcome. Really disappointing.

Stumbled upon this great spot while walking around the neighborhood. Honestly, impressed. Friendly staff, great drinks/food and good vibes. Did not make a reservation and staff was very accommodating. It was a beautiful day and I asked them to sit outside. They got me a table within 20mins as I sat on the bar despite no reservation and a busy day. 30mins after I sat outside light drizzle started and they quickly accommodated back us inside. Coming back!
